This year, Jill got the girls concert tickets to see Garth Brooks. I hadn't been to a sisters trip in a while and I was excited to get to go again.
I had a cute little tag along come with me.
We hopped on a red eye and little Annie did great.
Although we were a little tired when we landed. Maybe you can tell from my hair and Annie's face that we were quite sleepy.
Keep your eyes open, Annie!
My sweet sister-in-law Emily hosted us and Annie and I passed out on her couch. I was supposed to wake up and go out to breakfast with them but I could not keep my eyes open for the life of me. Thankfully the girls brought me some delicious Texas lunch to have when I could finally keep my eyeballs open.
Before the concert we went out for some lunch and stopped by a chocolate store to get some treats.
The concert was so fun. I didn't really know Garth Brooks to well but it being that it was THE Garth Brooks I knew that some songs would sound familiar, and they did.
It was such a cool venue.
It was a quick girl's trip but I am sure glad I went out and hung out with my sister in-laws. We made some fun memories and had a great time together. Our new soon to be sister in law Taylor also tagged along. She will make a great addition to the Stewart girls.
Sweet little Annie was a gem. My nephew Adam watched her while I was at the concert. I was very thankful he did that so that I could hang out with the girls.
Headed back home. Annie was not a happy camper going back home and it was also a red eye. It was definitely stressful having a fussy baby while everyone was trying to sleep. To make matters worse, I was stuck between two guys, and trying to nurse her was quite challenging. Needless to say, I was so happy when we landed.
A picture of us having lunch together.
One of Jill's friends also got to tag along. It was so fun meeting her. Jill is the sweetest and makes friends wherever she goes.
Here's my breakfast while I pump at work.
And an expensive lunch that did not leave me satisfied.
My sweet David.
So silly.
Lilah all ready for school.
She packed her lunch too, haha! A packet of hummus, a packet of ranch, and a single piece of cheese. She is too hilarious.
David got to go to his preschool open house. He is so excited to start school. He is definitely ready.
David loves to learn. He is one smart little boy.
The kids are always wanting stuff while we are out at the store so I tell them I'll take a picture of it.
It usually works to avoid tantrums.
Lilah never plays with toys. She just destroys the house and makes forts.
The kids enjoying their tiny kiddy pool.
The kids asked me to make them a slushy. Apparently Mike does this for them.
Lilah loves Annie SOO much!
I hope they always have a close bond.
Lilah making peanut butter and Nutella. She said our babysitter Abby only puts peanut butter on half of the bread so she had to do the same.
Sweet little Annie reaching for anything she can put in her mouth.
