Follow the Leader

My mom always said to watch what I did because my brother and sister were watching. I always thought that meant they were gonna tattle tale on me or something.  When we were younger I would take care of my brother and sister because my mom was working full time trying to make enough for the bills. I thought my brother and sister were here to make my life miserable and keep me from going places because I had to take care of them. I still remember walking with my mom to the preschool to take my little brother while pushing Priscilla in the stroller. I can't believe how time has passed by and how much we all have changed. As we have gotten older our relationship with each other has gotten stronger. I never thought Joel and Priscilla would look up to me or seek my approval, but they do, and it makes me feel good. It is always great when I come "home" and they greet me with smiles and hugs. When I was in elementary school i decided to get into music, then Joel followed, then Priscilla followed. In Middle school I maintained honoral, then Joel followed, and now Priscilla is doing the same. Once I got to Highschool, I got into FFA, then Joel followed, and now Priscilla wants to do the same. These are only some things I can think of, of our "follow the leader" relationship. I have married in the temple, and hope that one day Joel will follow, and so will Priscilla. I love my brother and sister so much and only wish them success and happines. Now that Priscilla was promoted and Joel graduated from Holtville High School they are one step closer to doing just that.

Priscilla's Holtville Middle School Promotion

Mr. Macon was my band teacher in Highschool, then Joel had him and this last year Priscilla has him in Middle school. He is my favorite teacher of all time, because of him I learned to love music, learned to play my flute, and learned to sing.

Joel was SO happy on his graduation. I was so excited I kept jumping off my chair whenever his name was called for anything. I love this booger so much. A little about Joel. He still has the same friends from Preschool. He loves Math and has been in MESA through out Highschool going to different schools to compete. His last competition was Robotics, where they built robots to see which ones were the strongest. He loves animals. In FFA he bought a lamb to take to the fair, which developed skin fungus from all the rain and he couldn't take to auction (haha funny) A member of the church still bought it from him though. He loves reading. He loves video games. He loves soccer.  He was the class "clown", even though he pretends to be shy at times. He loves hanging out with his friends (boyfriends) and still doesn't know what he will be majoring in.

These are some of my brother's fans. It took forever to take family pictures because all these little girls kept coming up to him to take pictures. When I see him around friends he is the nicest, funniest, well mannered young man i've ever met, hmm wonder what happens to that when he gets home? just kidding!
CONGRATS CLASS OF 2011!!!
