Lilah's 5th Birthday Party

This year we decided to celebrate Lilah's 5th birthday party early.

The weather had been incredible this month and we wanted to celebrate before it got too cold or the Holidays got too busy.

I can't believe how warm and beautiful the weather has been in November, it has been just the best!

And a little picture of the growing bump.

A picture of the birthday girl while everyone sang happy birthday. Not sure why these are out of order but we are gonna go with it, haha

The day after her birthday, our Castillo cousins came to visit. It was great to keep the party going.

Did I mention the weather was beautiful that weekend? The kids played outside and crafted and played.

So much playing going on it was so awesome.

My kids loved playing with their cousins

Lilah opening up her presents.

The pinata was so hard to break that we eventually broke the stick and the pinata didn't budge, haha!

After the party, we played with Joel's millenial Loteria. It was fun.

I love playing games with my family.

Lilah got so many fun presents.

She was so serious opening them all up it was funny.

She was so excited to have one of her church friends there, Georgie.

She loves her church friend Georgie very much and sometimes asks if she will be at church that day.

Glad I squeezed out a smile after so much seriousness.

And back to being serious, haha!

Daddy did this fun setup for the pinata so it was a little hard to hit it.

David was all about it like he had been hitting pinatas all of his life.

Lilah throwing a fit about who knows what. Sounds about right.

Her cute little friends minus Ellie.

And the hit of the party was the train ride.

Even the adults had a great time riding it.

I wasn't sure how much it would be liked but it was a total hit!

Everyone wanted to hop on.

Kids from the entire cul-de-sac came out and asked if they wanted to ride it.

We had kids running out of their houses and hopping on. It was awesome!

The kids rode it for the entire time and kept going on it over and over again.

I'm so glad I decided to rent it. It was so much fun!

The kids played before going on the choo choo train.

Lilah helped decorate the table.

Sondra's train track was a hit with the kids.

That day I had to work so my mom and family helped me put the party together. It was so nice of them.

My mom drove down for just one day so she could be there for Lilah's birthday party. Lilah is one loved granddaughter!

They definitely made this party a total success.

I would usually stress about this type of stuff but I had so much help that I was able to enjoy all of it.

David was so happy and excited to celebrate his sister.

Lilah said she was "5" so she didn't want to sit on the stool because "I Bigger, I Five"

She LOVES the fact that she turned five like her friends at school.

Ever since we told her she was turning five, she has been the most helpful little girl.

Mike said we should've told her she was turning five a long time ago, haha!

We have really seen a difference in her behavior. She's not only more helpful but is acting more mature now.

Lilah had the absolute best time at her party.

It's so nice that she was old enough to truly understand that this was all for her.

I made her a Little Mermaid cake to go along with the theme.

Lilah approved of her cake.
