Fourth of July by the beach

This year my sister in law, Elizabeth took her family to celebrate Fourth of July by the beach.

They have an RV and have been enjoying taking it out for fun trips. Mike and I decided to join them on the fun.

It was Lilah's first time at the beach. We had taken her to the beach before but she had never touched the sand or gotten close to the water.

The sun was too bright for our little diva so she stayed under the shade most of the trip.

It was still fun watching her experience sand for the first time.

Bright sun!

She loved watching the water.

She looked so cute in her little swim suit

Ha! that little nudist photobomber

This girl gives the best little smiles

You are too cute, Lilah!

I love her gummy grin smile!

As always, she was a rock star sleeper.

Her cousins loved taking turn taking care of her, lucky girl!

We had SO much delicious food. That's the best part of camping!

We had a campground that was close enough to walk to the beach.

I put this swim suit on and I couldn't believe how small it was on her! She is growing so fast!

Trying to keep my cute burrito out of the sun.

Not sure what's going on in this picture

How cute is this! Lilah has the best cousins!

Oh and here's our patriotic Sunday picture

Can't wait to hang out with the Monsons again! Happy fourth!

Mike's first father's day

For father's day this year we celebrated in Texas.

This was Lilah's first flight. I was a little nervous but she did so well!

It was alot easier having Mike to help.

We got to stay at my sister in laws house.

We love staying with her. her kids are the best. they all kept asking to hold Lilah.

Sunday morning  before church

This girl was all smiles for her daddy

Her shirt says, "I love daddy."

After church, Jill hosted the family for dinner. She and Jeff made the yummiest food and even had dessert. Here are all the guys on their special day.

When we got home, I was finally able to give Mike his present.

It was a collage of pictures of Lilah and him and a little imprint of her hand.

It's hanging up in our room now.

I love these two. I hope they always have a special daddy/daughter bond.

Happy Father's day Mike!
