Living Desert Christmas lights

Mike has had the best suggestions for adventures lately. I told him we should go look at Christmas lights and he said we should go and check out the Living Desert Zoo. The next showing was already sold out but it ended up being great. We went to Costco, made some returns, and had pizza for dinner. By the time we were done, it was our turn to enter the park.

This was probably the kids' favorite. Watching the trains go by.

They had so many lights and different areas to warm up and have hot cocoa.

The kids loved this fire pit. They even had stuff for s'mores.

So many fun areas for pictures.

The kids are at an age where they will ask for food (which is really expensive when you are eating at a park) and then they won't even eat/drink it. So, I decided to take hot cocoa with us. It was so funny. Mike was making fun of me for bringing a frother. But it worked out! And I was able to keep that water warm so that we could drink or hot chocolate warm to warm up our bodies.

It was such a fun family outing.

We will definitely be coming back again.

Random pictures of the kids. They have been really into playing games lately. It must be the Stewart in them.

LOVE when they play nicely together!

Annie has finally gotten big enough to do bathtime with the kids. She LOVES it.

Lilah's bus driver gifted her these princess mermaids for Christmas. I was so surprised and grateful that she would do that. Especially since Lilah gives her a run for her money.

The kids playing together is my favorite thing in this life.

Lilah helping with yard work.

My friend Robin thought it would be fun to go caroling. We got the kiddos together and went to a nursing home. The residents loved it and we even sang an encore.

Then we went and sang to our friend Audrey.

My sister gifted the kids these sleeping bags and they have been having sleep overs in their rooms. I love it! The first week of Christmas vacation, they fought like cats and dogs and the second week they have been playing so nicely.

Santa went to Lilah's school and got the kids gifts. This was Lilah's gift.

I think David is the most beautiful sleeper. It's almost as if he's pretending to be asleep.
