Fall with Friends

My friend Cristian and his cute family invited us to Like Oak Canyon farm.

I met him on unit 9100 when none of us had kids.

Now he has a cute little boy whom my kids love

They had a blast at the farm feeding animals and playing with Freddy. Here's a picture of his cute family which my kids photo bombed

I love that they are friends because Cristian is a close friend of mine

I think my favorite part was the train ride

The kids wanted to ride the carousel with Freddy.

They wanted to hop in Freddy's wagon

Cute friends

Lanie's mom getting some smiles from happy Annie

My kids fighting over the tractor

I had to bribe them for this cute picture

Love this crazy bunch

One of us was off for work and we got to go on a quick temple date.

We got there a little late due to traffic but we were able to at least do some sealings. It's so hard getting to the temple with little kids. It's hard enough finding a baby sitter to watch them while we work, having to ask for yet another day is too much. Plus the temple takes so long. One day when my kids are in school I would love to come more regularly.

David snapped this random picture of me nursing Annie. She loves to nurse! Hates the pacifier.

The kids are always stealing my phone and take pictures of themselves.

Lilah making messes per usual. Atleast this one was kind of cute. I don't remember why MIke was asleep I think he worked an On-Call day.

Library fun with our front-door neighbor.

David went to the baby sitters and immediately took out the lunch bag to pack his lunch. He is so funny. He even grabs an icepack and everything.

Lilah has the biggest sweet tooth. She is ALWAYS sneaking into the chocolate. Sometimes I go to make chocolate chip cookies only to find the bag empty in the back of the pantry.

Lilah trying out my new toy. I bought myself a cordless vacuum for Christmas this year.

My sweet neighbor brought the kids a Halloween goodie bag. We have the sweetest neighbors and I am so grateful for them.

I attended a family ASL meeting. I want to go more often. They have childcare but not for Annie and she kept fussing while I was trying to pay attention. Hopefully, I can go another time so I can practice my ASL.

Annie won't crawl but she'll sit and scoot her butt all around the room. She cries if I put her on her belly and the kids will immediately sit her back up.

David being silly. I think he only had underwear on.

I love when my kids play nicely so much!

Lilah helping me with presents for my graduating class.

Random picture taken by Lilah.

We have been trying to do better about having family home evenings. The kids enjoyed this lesson about the shephards.

Sometimes I catch David singing primary songs while he is playing with his toys and it makes me mama heart so happy.

The kids will talk about being kind like Jesus and will sometimes bring up stories that we have learned during FHE.

Annie wanted in on the action.

We started trying gymnastics. I was able to get both kids in and they really like it.

David loves it. I think Lilah likes it.

Liah asked for a picture with these pumpkins and asked for the lady standing in front of them to move so we could take a picture. Haha so embarrassing.

Joel came over with Moni and made spaghetti for us. We love his cooking!

I love when he comes over.

Lilah was doing her homework and said that was the plane she went on to go to Joseph's house. I think that was a highlight of her life.

Blowup house fun with Annie.

I love this cute mama's boy.

The kids are always on top of me while dad rests comfortably on the other side of the couch.

I try to hold David as much as possible because soon enough he will be too big me to pick up.

We went and visited the deaf branch and on our way there my friend texted me and told me they were having stake conference. I was so glad she let me know so we re-routed and went to conference. David wasn't feeling too well so it worked out that we sat by ourselves in the front.

Lilah has been learning to write and it's the cutest! She is doing a great job reading and her teacher is almost out of little kid books for her. She loves reading.

She wants me to spell everything for her so she can write it.

Annie got this weird rash. I think she got Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease since she puts everything in her mouth. My guess is she got it from the library. Everyone is constantly sick this season.

Sick David

My mother-in-law needed me to run some errands for her since she is in the Netherlands and while I was running errands this lady stopped me and told me she had gotten a bunch of food from a food bank and there was no way she would eat it all. She asked me if I was willing to take some from her. It was so sweet. Right now with inflation groceries are super expensive and this was such a sweet little blessing. I feel so blessed that we have never struggled for food and we have never wondered how our bills will be paid. It is definitely a blessing to have enough for our needs during these times.

8 month on Annie

The kids doing an activity with our trash.

Sometimes when the kids start fighting like cats and dogs it is best we go on a little adventure. When we got to the park both David and Annie were asleep so Lilah and I got to play alone for a while.

It was a beautiful day. I love California's weather.

We took a treat to eat. I love outings with my three ducklings.

And then we ended the day with some In N Out.

Lilah teaching David to do naughty things like climb on top of the play house. Oh, Lilah!

David can be so shy around others. I love that he lets loose at home.

David was proud of his work. We had to document it.

Picture taken by Lilah. Annie trying to rip my shirt down so she can get some milk.

I love them so much when they are happy and kind to one another. I guess I love them when they're naughty too but they sure stress me out and give me anxiety, haha!

I love the way David is looking at Annie in this one.

It was Annie's turn to be sick. She had a fever so she went to sleep nakey.

David kissing Lilah because he probably wanted a night treat.

Another picture at the entrance of gymnastics. I love when Liah asks me to take pictures of her. She is SO beautiful.

We got to celebrate Tio on his birthday.

The kids love birthdays and Tio so it was the perfect combo.

Joel wanted chips and Nacho Libre.

My sister got the kids these sleeping bags and now they are obsessed with them and only sleep inside of them. Great present Tia!
