Pinning Ceremony

After quitting Loma Linda, I was worried that I would miss working bedside. So far I haven't looked back.
This term I had the pleasure of teaching the same group of students that I taught my very first time when I started working at West Coast.

They were so sweet and invited me to their graduation.

It was so fun getting to see them start as new nurses and now graduate and be ready to take their NCLEX. I even had one student who had already been hired as a nurse!

I have really enjoyed being a clinical instructor. I like teaching and I like nursing so this has been a great combo for me.

I got to build such a strong bond with my students.

I was so proud of all of the work they put in to get here. Erica was even a mom to two! I cannot imagine doing school with a family. Some of my students worked while in the program. They are superstars!

My cheeks hurt from smiling so much during their pinning ceremony.

I was one proud teacher!

Sweet little Annie still wakes up twice at night. Well, she eats at midnight and then again at 0600 and then usually wakes up around 0900.

David loves playing with his little friend our front-door neighbor. He always wants to go to Carolina's house.

My sweet little Annie. So far she's been a great third child.

Lilah was being silly making this face. She tried to hold it for as long as she could and then cracked a smile. She is so funny sometimes.
