I love that little boy loves to bake. He loves taking goodies to the neighbors as well.
Now that Marcia is not around to make us delicious treats, I have been baking a little more. I had never made cinammon rolls before and now I have a couple of dozens under my belt.
I also tried my hand at doughnuts. Not too bad for my first time.
Because Michael has not gone back to work, I decided to take up two classes at clinicals. It has been so fun to be able to focus on my career and use my MSN, ED without having to worry about childcare. I wish it was like this all the time, but I know Mike will be going back to work eventually.
Our little Annie Banani is 2 months old now. She feels like an old soul and I cannot believe she is only a couple of weeks old. Babies are so resilient and strong in their survival and reflex skills. She is doing great at all things baby.
Our happy little, baby sister.
This year's new year resolution was to add more color to my plate. I have been loving in it lately. I feel like I have not been as great at it as I was before Annie was born. Before she was born I was making everything homemade. It was awesome. But, I am slowly getting back to it. The kids were running around like crazy people upstairs this day, so I told Mike to let them be so we could enjoy dinner by ourselves.
One of my favorite pictures of these two girls.
Lilah has been loving speech therapy at the Truesdail Center. Her other speech therapy place said that there was not more they could offer for her. She had already read all of the books and played with all of the games they could offer. She would get bored really early on in the lesson. Truesdail is still new and exciting so she is having a great time at the new facility.
The clinicians are students and they put together crafts and games. Lilah loves it.
My snuggly little Annie. One of the things I will miss about having a little baby around are the tiny snuggles.
Those little cheeks are growing in nicely.
So sleepy. I love how well we are in tune together. It's like she is still part of me. Like there is an invisible cord that still attaches us. Oh, how I love her!
I've been trying to be better at doing crafts with David. He is such a smart little boy that I want to take advantage. Here he is making a volcano to learn the letter "V"
Another delicious home made meal. It's crazy how much food prices have increased this year. I used to love buying organic everything but now I have to really think about it. Inflation is no joke.
My brother made me these green beans once and they have since been my favorite. He is always serving and helping me and cooking when he gets here. He has no idea how much great help he is to me.
Happy little Annie.
Lilah and her crazy bed head. This girl, like her daddy is always the first one to wake up. They are both early risers.
Lilah and David working on activities while we listen to conference.
Did I mention I love being married to an early riser? Mike makes us crepes every conference weekend. He is always serving our family.
Dessert for breakfast. Chocolate chips with a side of crepes.
Keeping the Stewart tradition of Conference Crepes.
Lilah made hers all by herself.
Nothing makes me happier than my kids playing nicely together.
The kids setting the 'table'
Chilaquiles are my favorite.
Love their cute giggles.
I wanted to document how many apples we go through in this house. I sweat I buy a new bag every week. We love green and red apples around here.
The kids working on an activity while we listen to conference.
David always requesting to bake so I'm sure he asked to bake something.
Lilah didn't want to cooperate at speech so I had to do the game for her while she worked on her sounds. So stubborn that one! She took my phone away and started taking pictures of me too.
David will sometimes ask for a binky or to sit in Annie's seat. I think someone is a little bit jealous some times.
My angel baby.
My coworker came by and dropped off a bunch of goodies that my coworkers had put together for me. I am very introverted and don't talk to people much but I still love when people reach out. It was such a thoughtful gift.
Another day, another cuddle session.
How we do 3 kids at the store. I love this hammock gadget.
And I finally had my last OBGYN appointment. So crazy that I do not plan to be here ever again.
One of my favorite things to eat for breakfast.
This month was Vanellope's 8th birthday. That meant she got to be baptized! We ended up driving out there and staying at a hotel that we like. I felt bad wasting all of this milk while I was there becasue I was still using my Haaka at the time, so there's a picture to make me feel less bad about dumping it, hehe!
Vanellope and Annie
I can't believe this cute girl is already 8. Where has the time gone?
Marsix threw her a Vanellope Candy Crush party, it was so cute!
David and Lilah were so excited for her. They wanted to be baptized just like Vanellope! Thank you for setting the example Vanellope!
The hotel we always stay at when we go to Las Vegas. With three kids, we are to the point where we need to rent a small condo every time we go out. We love this place because it has a kitchen and big fridge too.
On our way there we stopped at an old volcano.
Mike said he camped out here once with the boyscouts when we lived in Highland.
It was a good little rest stop for the kids since they don't love being in the car.
David and Lilah got to run around while I fed Annie in the car. That's Lilah not wanting to be in the family picture, hehe.
Love this breakfast.
David is the cutest little boy I've ever seen. He wanted a phone holder on his arm just like daddy. He is almost ready to ride a bike without training wheels, we just have to find him one to practice.
Man, you sure are cute David!
I've been trying to be better at taking the kids on dates. this day I took Lilah to speech and then we went out for icecream.
She got the biggest scoop of icecream that was way too big for her.
Here she is all smiles before she dropped her ice cream cone, haha! She was SOO sad it broke my heart.
I ended up picking it up and cleaning it off and giving it to her. It's ok, she eats her boogers anyways.
And I could watch this sweet little thing sleep all day long. I love her cute little double chin and lips.
Her lashes are getting longer every day. Maybe she'll have beautiful lashes like Lilah.
I'm also starting to get back into the rhythm of daily walks. I always feel so much better when I go out on a walk in the sunshine.
Lilah loves Annie so much and holds her and picks her up any chance she gets.
Haha, can you tell I love eating this?
I love when my kids are kind to each other and share. They called me over and said, "Mommy, we're sharing!"
Lilah holding Annie every chance she gets.
I love having a boy in the house.
Eating the rainbow for dinner.
I love David lining up his toys. It's too cute!
This month we were also able to attend Ethan's birthday party.
My friend said they are probably going to be moving to Utah soon and it makes me so sad!
Lilah and Ethan are the cutest little friends. The kids have loved going to all of Ethan's super fun birthdays.
This month we were also able to go to Movie at the Park. They were shoing Encanto, which is one of David's favorite soundtracks.
We under estimated how cold it would be though so we didn't stay the entire time but it was still fun. I was also worried when the sun went down that I would lose one of the kids since it was hard to see anything and there were so many people.
So we went home and watched the rest of the movie from home.
Chubs little Annie. Hopefully she puts on some yummy rolls like David.
David is the sweetest around Annie. I love watching them. He is always so gentle and wants to give her kisses.
Watching David play is the best.
Goodness I sure love you little boy!
You now Lilah is tired when she falls asleep before even finishing her cookie.
Lilah wanted to pose with our family picture. She is too funny sometimes.
David and I having lunch outside waiting for Lilah while Mike washes the car. Thanks Mike!
Well it was another fun month in the books. So greatful for all of the adventures I get to enjoy with my little family.
