Irvine Regional Park

These past months I have been trying my best not to eat out. It had been fun to make everything from scratch and at home so it's always a real treat to go out to eat.

So, I probably win something every three years. I guess I was due to win this year. I entered a contest to win prizes for a train ride, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and a family bike ride but I had no idea that all of those things were located in this beautiful park.

It had miles of bike paths, beautiful, tall mature trees, a pond, and a small carnival were we started our day off at.

There was so much stuff to do. There was also a museum and a Zoo that we had no idea about.

Annie all smiles is just along for the crazy Stewart ride.

David was loving this exercise park. I love that the kids think it's fun to exercise and move their bodies.

Little monkey Lilah.

There were squirrels and ducks everywhere.

Lilah modeling the pond.

I'm sure David will have grown another foot by the time we come back next Easter.

Lilah and David fighting that they both want a picture with these wood bunnies. Oh, kids!

The kids were very excited about the train ride.

They were also very excited to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.

I wasn't sure if they would be scared and thought if they backed out that was ok because they had been free tickets anyway. But, they both did great!

I think this was my kid's first ever picture with the Easter Bunny. I had never done it before because I didn't want them to be scared and I didn't want to force them so I'm glad their first experience was a good one. As the kids say, "Happy Easter bunny rabbit!"
