Easter 2022

Annie has been a great little sleeper this month. She loves to turn her head to the left when she sleeps. I guess because I am on that side. Sorry if you're a little plop sided Annie!

Pretty sure Lilah got out this activity for both of them to do. David is so lucky to have a big sister to get him stuff even if it is naughty.

I found these pictures of Lilah on my phone. Silly girl!

For Easter, the Terrys invited us over to their Easter party. With not having family around, this really means a lot to me.

She is so sweet and makes such cute activities for all of the kids.

I'm so glad my kids got to experience Easter hunting with other little friends.

David was the youngest there and therefore got to go first. He did NOT enjoy the attention so he just stood there instead.

He did what Lilah did last year. He would pick up an egg, open it, and eat it before picking up the next egg.

Lilah understood the assignment and was all about it.

Not only did they find a bunch of eggs, but sister Terry gave them a ton of goodies and treats.

Happy kids!

Annie will have to join next year.

Sleepy little angel. She does a great job at being a baby. She sleeps and eats and repeats the process every day.

We had delicious bbq and lots of yummy sides.

When we got home, we made a little resurrection garden. I try my best to teach the kids the real reason behind these Holidays.

At times it's hard to fight the commercialized Holidays so it is always nice to hear them talk about Jesus during Easter and Christmas. It makes me feel like they really are listening.

While we put this together we talked about Jesus' tomb and how he was resurrected. We had watched a video prior so the kids had learned a little bit about what happened on Easter morning.

Another activity we did was the Sacrament.

Lilah was a great helper pouring the water

I had bought the kids a couple of thins for their Easter baskets but I wasn't sure if I would use it after all. I don't really know where to draw the line with the commercialized Holidays part of things but ofcourse I went online and saw everyone's posts about Easter baskets so I decided to set them out after all.

And left a little train of mini marshmallows from the Easter Bunny.

David loved his treats.

And let's not forget the Easter pictures for mom.

I thought they looked so cute in their matching outfits.

I'm a sucker for matching outfits right now.

And ofcourse Lilah wanted a picture with Annie.

Bubble gun from the Easter Bunny.

Another activity that we did to learn about the resurrection and Jesus' tomb.

Lilah can be the best big sister when she wants to.

So sweet when she helps him.

And that's a wrap for Easter 2022. I loved getting to do these little activities with my babies and teaching them about the Savior and the true meaning of Easter.
