Our sweet little girl has just jumped into the rhythm of life. She has gotten into the swing of sleeping and eating and is doing all things baby.
I have had so much help in February that I have been able to make food for other mamas who just had their babies.
My friend Robin has a baby at home so we took her some dinner and homemade bread, since David love to bake bread.
Annie is still small enough that she enjoys being in the carrier. I feel like they outgrow this thing so fast so I'm trying to take advantage of her being so little
My sweet little Annie
This little boy loves haircuts.
He looks like he has a hairy back in this picture, hehe
I spend alot of my time in bed feeding Annie and napping with Annie. David thought he'd help me out by bringing me a cup and the gallon of milk for me to pour him some milk.
I have been trying to make my body a priority. It has done so much for me, and continues to do so much for me, that I have been loving drinking all of the green smoothies.
When Annie sleeps, I feel she looks alot like Lilah.
Not sure who she gets her cute little pointy nose from.
Her eyes are like Lilah's and her face is like David's.
This little boy is just the best helper around. He loves helping me so much. I love having him around. He loves helping me make my veggie juice.
A yummy protein oatmeal. I sleep in so late, I usually have breakfast around 2pm these days. I'm so grateful to Mike for making sure everything runs smoothly so I can get some sleep.
Annie has been doing better at night. I have decided not to pump this time around. I only pump when I am at work. I only use my Haka at night and use whatever it catches as my extra. It has helped me get better sleep at night.
Annie is up to waking up every 3 hours now. We are slowly getting better. I just get up, pour the milk out of my Haka out, put it in the fridge, clean it, and back to sleep I go. So much better than pumping every 2-3 hours like I did with Lilah.
My tiny little Annie. So soon I will wonder how you were ever so small.
And her umbilical cord came off. Another reminder that she is getting bigger.
Big girl without her umbilical cord.
I started reading this book again. I remember my mom reading it while she was at school and telling me about it. I couldn't remember the details but while studying the church lessons or that week, it reminded me of this book. I remembered my brother had it upstairs so I decided to give it a read for the second time around.
My sister in law also came to visit. It was so nice to see them. Gracie had a gymnastics tournament in Ontario, so they stayed with us so they could meet Annie.
We made some hamburgers for them.
Lots of yummy food.
Lilah loved playing with Aunt Beeb. She was playing doctor and Elizabeth was the patient.
The next day, my brother in law and his girlfriend spent another day with us. We made pizzas. They came out delish.
Since we had been home so much, we decided to take the kids on a little hike to San Timoteo canyon. Here is David trying to give Lilah a hug and Lilah pretending like she doesn't want one.
It felt so good to be outside and get a little sunshine. Even though it was a little cold outside so we didn't stay long because we had Annie.
They moved some dirt around and I felt like it wasn't as fun as it used to be because the kids could fall in. But they still had fun in the dirt and David loved throwing rocks in.
Trying to keep Annie warm. It was chilly and windy that day, unfortunately.
Everyone wanted to help push Annie.
You can't really see it in this picture, but Lilah is pushing a little girl on the swing. She is such a mama and loves to help. Sometimes a little overbearing but it was still cute.
Here she is pushing a little girl on the swing. She loves to help the little ones.
It was chilly so I went to feed Annie in the car and then we decided to wait for the kids there.
So sweet and little.
Lilah asking for a picture, hehe
Someone from the ward came by and brought Annie a basket of goodies. I never expect anything from anyone or don't expect them to even remember I exist so it's so sweet when anyone brings us anything.
I feel you, Annie.
I am loving these green smoothies. Cucumber, celery, spinach, mango, pineapple and ginger.
My new year's resolution for this year is to add more color to my foods. It always tastes so much better to ear the rainbow.
I love food, apparently.
And a yummy late night snack. Bon appetite, Annie!
