The shelter in place orders continue. We have been craving outings and adventures lately so I thought maybe we would go out where there wouldn't be people around. We found a perfect little spot at the White Water Preserve.
The babies loved playing in the dirt and splashing in the water.
We try to do a fun activity every couple of days, even if it's just at home.
Here we are after a long day, watching Book of Mormon Videos while we wait for daddy to get home.
Lilah playing with her dollies.
By the time the afternoons rolls around, mommy needs a minute to herself. Mike got home this day and i asked him to take the babies out on a ride. I'm glad he understands that I need some alone time and doesn't question me when I ask him to take over with the kids.
Doing fun activities while the baby sleeps.
I caught Lilah reading to her baby and had to snap a pic.
With businesses closing, some stores are selling all of their inventory before shutting down. My friend bought some food from Soup Plantation and brought me some. Lilah and I made chocolate raisin cookies with all the raisins he brought us.
David pretending to eat. He is still the pickiest eater. I hope it goes away soon because it sure makes things difficult.
But he's still cute as ever.
Monthly pictures.
Our at home church. I like seeing people at church but I'm really going to miss at home church when we go back.
Our yummy chocolate raisin oatmeal cookies.
I have finally started working out again. I love working out in the mornings. I wish I could get up early and do it before the babies but I like my sleep more.
Lilah crying because she doesn't want to wear a mask. I feel you girl!
Switching things up and having a picnic in front of our house after picking up Lilah's school lunch.
Lilah ended up taking all of her toys out.
David trying to escape his sister.
Another day at White Water. This day we got smarter and brought bathing suites and an umbrella.
Oh how I love my babies and the outdoors. Put these two together and it's my very favorite.
David's face after I told him to stop drinking the water.
David is just the best baby in all the land. So easy going and always happy.
As long as he's fed and gets his naps in, he is always happy.
He loves to steal my breakfast smoothies.
Playing with kinetic sand. But then he wanted to eat it so we had to switch to a different activity.
Lots of water days now that the sun is out.
One day we woke up and decided to re-do our front room.
Here's Lilah getting ready to pull out the carpet.
And then I decided to gut out the fireplace while we were at it.
Sunday breakfast. I love Sundays at home.
Cutting out all of the baseboards.
Hopefully we'll have new floors and fireplace soon!
