Easter

Both babies drinking a bottle playing with their ears, hehe! They must be siblings. Lilah has started wanted a binkey just like brother lately. She wanted to be just like the baby some days.

David loves his sister. He loves saying "Lilah" whenever he sees her.

COVID still continues to rule our days. I hate having to wear masks on our walks. It definitely makes them less fun.

I was looking forward to Easter regardless of the craziness going on in the world. This year we started celebrating Easter the week before. I was looking forward to Easter week with my kiddos.

Here is Lilah doing the passover. We didn't quite do things in order, that is something I will do better at next time. But it did make Easter more special to start thinking of the even the Savior went through during holy week.

The babies fighting to see who plays the piano the loudest.

The prophet had asked us to fast about this whole COVID thing. It think it was my first time fasting for the full 24hours and starting and ending in prayer. As you can see, I had a delicious first meal.

I found out David loves green smoothies.

Another activity we did was to "Clean the temple"

We also had "Palm Sunday"

This was our preschool activity for the day. We learned about the letter C for Caps.

Going to Lilah's ENT appointment. I hate masks.

The babies wrestling in the trampoline. David is such a champ to keep up with his big sister.

Lilah hoarding all of her toys into her stroller like a homeless man.

I love when she does this!

We made yummy Easter treats.

We made Easter nests with rice krispy treats and chocolates.

The week of Easter we had rain all week so the Saturday before, we decided to have our Easter egg hunt while the sun shined. It was so refreshing to see the sun out after so much rain.

Lilah loved the Easter egg hunt this year. She understood what to do this time.

I LOVED watching her get excited about finding eggs. I'm hiding a thousand of them next time. It was like not wanting Christmas morning to end.

David had been practicing putting things "inside" so he did great (With a little help from dad, ofcourse.)

 I love my family

Later that day we went on a family walk.

We were going to do a resurrection garden so we went out to find a rock to cover our tomb.

David watching Lilah collect dirt to feel our garden.

It was such a beautiful day and it was so nice to have a day off with Mike.

Easter morning the babies enjoyed waking up to their baskets.

Then we got ready for our at home church. Not before a photo shoot session though.

Then we had our Easter lesson.

Our finished resurrection garden.

Since we were on "lockdown" we couldn't visit grandma but she still brought us Sunday dinner. So thoughtful and sweet!

I love Easter and look forward to next year's
