Children's museum and Water park

I love that Lilah can walk now and that we can go to so many more places now that she's a little older. This summer I wanted to take Lilah out on little adventures every week. Something just the two of us could do. On his particular week I decided it would be fun to go to a splash pad. We had slept in, woke up, had breakfast, and drove to Hemet to their local pool. When we got there they said it wouldn't be open to the public until noon so we went to hang out at the children's museum while we waited.

It was a lot of imaginative play and Lilah was a little too young for it but we managed to find things for her to do.

Here she is loading up her groceries for the little cashier girl to scan.

Playing in the fire truck.

There was a little section where they had things for younger kids to play in. We stayed here most of the time.

After playing we went and had a little lunch at McDonalds.

Finally it was time to play in the water. It was a little deeper than I  thought it would be so I help Lilah the entire time. It was noon and i was worried it would be too hot but it turns out it was kind of chilly!

After about 30 minutes of playing in the water I noticed that Lilah was a little frozen so I decided to take her out.

We sat out by the sun and warmed up for a bit.

This little girl always gets to many compliments for those huge lashes. Today they were wet and that made them look even bigger.

Love my happy girl!

Then we went home and played with her toys. She loved pushing this box around and collecting items along the way. This girl loves boxes! I'm looking forward to many adventures with Lilah.
