Happy 18 months to our baby Lilah!
I wanted to start a new tradition of celebrating Lilah's 1/2 birthday since her birthday falls between the Holidays.
I was thinking about what I wanted to do for her first birthday and decided to take a Disneyland trip.
I knew it wouldn't be a regular Disneyland trip but a more kid friendly one with lots of breaks in between.
We decided to take it slow with not many expectations.
Our very first order of business was pictures in front of the castle followed by Dumbo.
It was a warm day. Thankfully for princess Lilah, she had her parents fanning her the entire time.
Keeping cool with some cold water while in line.
Michael said he was worried about how Lilah would do waiting in lines. I was worried also.
But she did great! She loved saying hi to everyone and stayed mostly close to us.
Dumbo!
Riding with daddy this time.
Next up was Casey Jr.
She loved the train ride and looking at all of the things around her.
She had fun with the girls sitting in front of us.
Lilah got SO many compliments about how cute she looked. Every 2 minutes someone would mentioned how cute she looked in her little Snow White outfit. People were even stopping to take pictures of her. Look at her being so compliant and standing there for them!
Next up were the Tea Cups
Lilah playing with a little boy in line.
She had so much fun in the tea cups!
Waiting in line for Small World.
She was a little tired and decided to lay down on the dirty floor.
Riding inside Small World.
One of Lilah's favorite parts was listening to the bands play.
Some more pictures.
I couldn't get over how cute her little outfit was. Loved my little princess Lilah.
Playing inside Mickey's house.
She loved Mickey's house and touching everything in there.
Pooping in the corner, haha!
She loved this little corner.
She spent so much time playing in this window. I would run and yell "BOO" on the other side and she would tap on the window to scare me.
Waiting for the parade.
Pixar parade.
Watching the parade.
Lilah's favorite part, the bands!
She stood there mesmerized while they played.
She was their #1 fan.
Clapping along to the songs.
My little Princess. She got compliments all day long about how beautiful she looked.
She decided she had, had enough pictures and sat down.
The princess and her castle. Just like mom had her castle but from San Diego.
Runing away from daddy.
The line for a Dole Whip was around the corner all day long. Finally at night I was able to get my treat.
Time to go home!
We had such a great day. It was definitely a different experience taking Lilah with us. We made sure to take it slow and centered the whole day around her. I'm glad she had such a great time. Mike and I enjoyed her little smiles all day long.
