For the fourth of July, every one went to play at the resort again. We decided to let Lilah catch up on a little sleep and then went out to explore some more of Colorado.
On our way to a hike we got detoured into Grandby and saw that they were having a parade. To our surprise they were just starting.
At our house parades start at 9 am so we always miss them. I like the Colorado way of doing parades at 11Am.
It was so cute and family friendly. They were throwing so many things for the kids.
Lilah's favorite part were the horses.
Waving at the trucks.
Cutest little wave.
Enjoying the parade.
Going after some candy.
After the parade we made our way to Grand Lake to go and hike up to Adam Falls.
It was a short little hike that led to a big water fall. On our way up the paramedics were there helping a guy out. Apparently they thought he was having a heart attack. That guy was there the entire time we were there.
Lilah trying to climb up to my arms.
This little girl wanted me to hold her the entire time and didn't want to be in her carrier.
Lilah "I want my mom!"
Picking her nose. Led to her first nose bleed.
Lilah was a happy girl now.
Lots of giggles now that I was holding her.
Love my cute girl!
After our hike, we met up with family at the resort for more alpine slide fun.
Lilah at the end of the day ready for nap time.
I love this picture of her looking at daddy.
