The kids love this water slide
Annie even jumped in fully clothed
David took his surfing board in to go surfing
Watching my kids play nicely together is my favorite thing on the planet.
We love our library and are so grateful to have one close to home. This summer they have made so many fun activities. For this particular activity, they had reading time at Los Rios Ranch.
They had a little play time to begin and then singing time.
Annie was straight up chilling.
When we were done, our neighbors were there also so we went for a hike.
There's nothing better than being out in nature with kids. (Well except being out in the ocean)
Annie is always ready for a picture.
That cheesy face melts me.
Our neighbor Carolina is about 7 months older than David and they get along so well. Now that she started school, he misses her and is always asking for playdates. She is in kindergarten now and he is in TK and he doesn't get to see her.
It makes me so sad that they had their last play date and I didn't even realize it at the time. I feel like I am more prepared for all of the firsts but it's the lasts that totally catch me off guard.
Annie loves the water. The bad thing is she always wants to drink it too.
David protecting Annie and keeping her away from the water.
Our neighbor Castulo is one of David's heroes. David thinks he is the absolute coolest person ever and loves his toys.
Lilah can be such a mean girl sometimes and doesn't realize when she does things that it hurts other people's feelings. She often pesters kids alot so kids don't want to play with her. While we were taking pictures, she told Castulitos he couldn't be in the picture and he got his feelings hurt. Poor guy.
My little family. One of the reasons I only wanted 3 kids was because often times it's just me alone with the kids. I never want to not go somewhere because I can't handle them and 3 is about my limit. I probably would've had more kids if I had help but this is definitely my limit. I also would love to help my kids out as much as possible since it's something that I never really had since my mom still works and lives so far.
The sign of a great time is the kids passed out.
We have been having play dates with our church friends on Fridays and I love it. It's nice to hang out with moms and my kids enjoy playing with friends.
Annie causing trouble with her favorite person.
The other day we went to pick up my sister at the airport and hung out at a nearby park while we waited. We had a kids meal for dinner and the kids hung out at the playground. A little girl was being mean to Annie and Annie pushed her back. I don't think I have to worry about her being bullied :/
I love open-ended play!
