July was a fun month. It was a full time job trying to keep these kids learning and entertained. They played nicely with one another, for the most part, which is always my favorite thing about them.
earned that locking my door has no use because Lilah knows where to get the screwdriver to unlock the door to my bedroom.
We made fun activities to learn our colors.Brother even joined in on all of the activities. I have a feeling he is going to learn so much this year
We took lots of baths. Our bewitched hour is 5pm so to pass the time until daddy comes home we do long, fun baths.
I just keep falling more and more in love with this sweet little boy of mine. I just can't get enough of his cuddles and sweet little smiles.
I wished I could keep a 1 year old version of David with me forever. I just love 1 year old David so much.
Lilah is little Miss independent. The other day we were at Costco and she took my card and paid for the food and then asked for the receipt to go up to the counter and get our food. COVID still has it so places are closed so things are interesting when you want to get some food.
I even braved taking the kids to the lake by myself. It was pretty stressful, but we had a good time.
It was mostly stressful because David wants to constantly be in the water and he likes to go deep in the water. He has no fear.
Lilah loves her baby brother. Sometimes she bosses him around too much which is something that we're working on but she's getting better.
We have been learning to share with baby brother. Some days is a struggle, but other days they play so well together.
David has decided he is a big fan of popsicles. I have found Lilah with a pair of kitchen scissors at hand opening up popsicles for herself. I admire her persistance and independence.
Lilah hates snuggling so I soak it all in when David wants to snuggle. She is like her mama. She likes her space.
She loves being a helper. Most of the time she just wants to do things herself without help. She'll tell me to stand back.
We also wore our O.U.R shirts to spread awareness on human trafficking. It's a scary world my babies are being raised in I just want to keep them safe and happy.
