Here's little David with a doll that his sister gave him and a pen mark because Lilah thought she would draw on her little brother.
Lilah assessing the damage.
Some of the girls in the ward started a Christmas Co-Op. We joined them for a field trip to Garden Works. Lilah loved it!
It was such a magical place for kids.
There was so much to do and I loved that kids were free to explore and play in the dirt and get dirty.
There were endless amounts of things to do. We even stayed 2 more hours after everyone in our group left. We will definitely be back to this cute place.
We have started giving David solids. His first food was some rice cereal and breast milk. He wasn't a fan. I thought he would be all about eating but I guess now. We will try again in a week or two.
This guy paid for my food at In N Out after someone paid for his food. So sweet!
Here we are doing our act of kindness for the month. Some families in our neighboring town lost their homes to a fire and it completely broke my heart. I went to Walmart and bought their family a change of clothes and diapers for their kids.
I cannot imagine losing everything I own in a day. It would break my heart not to be able to give my kids everything they need so I felt for this mama.
Lilah helped me deliver all of the clothes and things we got for them.
This month Lilah got a new bed. We moved her out of her crib and put a full size bed in her room that her cousin Odin donated to us.
So far Lilah is a lot better at sleeping through the night in her new bed. She still wakes up occasionally and cries. She usually wakes up at 6am and asks for her milk before going back to sleep.
Because Lilah wakes me up and David still wakes me up twice a night, I have been so tired. On this particular night I heard Lilah get out of her room (I left her door open in the morning) I was hoping she would just come out and play with her toys but instead woke up to the bath water running. I ran up and found her bathing the dog with the toilet brush. How she got the dog in the bathtub beats me.
When I went to take the dog outside I realized she had given him breakfast too.
As you can see, she used her little chair to open up the door and let them in. I am honestly impressed she can orchestrate such a thing!
Here's Lilah doing an activity with her speech teacher.
I asked Lilah to pick up the dog food and she grabbed a big cup and started putting all the dog food inside, which I thought was so sweet of her to help me clean up. While I was loading the washer I heard a loud noise and came out to her having dumped all of the dog food on David. Argh! I was over the dog food cleaning.
This month David got 2 little teeth. As if this boy couldn't get any cuter.
We were also booed by our neighbors. We woke up to a cute bucket full of goodies.
Lilah loved it!
My chubster boy has become so opinionated. He thinks mama should hold him all day long. I love the cuddles but man that boy is heavy! And also it's impossible to get anything done while holding him.
After we delivered things to the family who lost their home in the fire, people reached out to me and wanted to help. Some venmoe'd me money so I was able to deliver it to them. I thought it was so sweet of them to want to help, specially because the people who donated were not even from this state. People are so kind. It made me want to be better about helping those in need.
David watching his sister play outside.
Here we are paying it forward and booing our neighbors.
On our way to boo our neighbors.
Me watching David sleep as per usual.
Uncle Joel and Tia Priscilla came over to visit. It was the best!
Lilah had so much fun, she passed out on her Tia Priscilla.
David just looks so cute sleeping I can't help but snap pictures.
Since Joel and Priscilla were going to Mexico, we decided to tag along.
We made sure to get tacos while we were there. It's a must while in Mexico.
Meeting my cousin's new baby. Can you tell these babies are teething?
We also snuck a little trip to the park.
David's first time on the swing.
It was a great outing and I'm glad we tagged along to visit family.
