Marsix and her family came out in September for our Annual SoCal get together.
The LA fair was going on so we went to check it out and eat all of the food.
Lilah was so cute with her cousins. She was actually in a terrible mood but thankfully her cousins were sweet and understanding of her crazy mood swings. Lilah stopping her naps has affected all of us. Oh how I wish someone made ME nap.
Marsix and Alex got the girls matching shirts and matching outfits for the boys. It was so incredibly sweet of them. I have dreamed of these days.
We tried to go to the baseball game but were there too late. Last time we were there late, we got tickets for free. Not only did we have to pay for the tickets, but they were even more expensive than the year before! Man it's pricey having babies.
The following day, we spent a much needed relaxing day at the beach.
Lilah girl is a big fan of the beach. She kept throwing sand at us though, not very nice.
The girls post showers doing each other's hair.
On a cloudy and cold day, we have activities inside.
Here's the post partum hair damage. It's so crazy how much hair I lost. I remember being young and having so much thick hair. The good thing is that my head doesn't sweat as much as it did when I was younger.
Not sure what Lilah was crying about in this pictures, but it seems that she wanted to go outside. She has become excellent at unlocking doors and it is my worst nightmare to have her escape the house and walk to the park or get run over on the street so we keep these door locks on all the doors now. .
Lilah being silly. Oh how I love her little personality.
I think this was her first time holding a little puppy. She was loving it.
Not sure what's going on here.
Lilah is so stubborn sometimes. Most of the time I try to just go with the flow. Like this picture below.
This is my life right now. Trying to rangle 2 babies so I can go to the bathroom. My hair pulled back into a pony and minimal make up because Lilah doesn't let me get much done these days.
Life is so incredibly busy and stressful these days but it's tiny little glimpses like these that take me back and make me enjoy the every day things. I'm grateful for a strong body that allowed me to no only make these babies but to be able to raise them as well. I really hope that I can die old to watch these babies grow up to be kind humans and that I can live long to love these babies for as long as I possibly can.
Lilah is so funny
Getting some snuggles in before going to work.
Wish I could take these cuddles to work with me.
I love it when Lilah is silly.
Lilah is going through a faze right now when she likes to grab bags and stick all of her toys in it. I LOVE it! She unknowingly helps me clean the entire house.
Lilah loves climbing into the dryer and hiding in there. I'm always so worried she will climb in and get stuck or something. It's a full time job keeping these babies safe.
Lilah the bag lady.
Potty training. She decided the coffee table would be a great place to go potty and jumped up there potty and all.
I love when Mike get home from work. Most days he gets home from work so late that we hardly see him. I am always thankful when he comes home and helps so I can have some alone time.
Just another day of watching David sleep.
Can you see that mischievous face?
It's not very often that this little girl takes a nap and let alone that she naps on me. I was so sad when David woke up and I had to leave this scene.
Doing our act of kindness for the month.
This moth we put gold ribbon around the trees for September's Childhood Cancer awareness.
Lilah helped pull the wagon for a bit but then later decided to jump in and enjoy a ride.
We ended the day passing out lemonade.
Somehow we ended up with $8. We only had 3 people stop by before we packed up and played in the park but I was blown away at how kind people were to Lilah.
Every year after Stake Conference, they open up the temple grounds and we are able to walk around. This year we walked around and my mother in law snapped these cute pictures. I LOVE the way Lilah came out in this one.
And that cute little face, I can't!
My little family.
I was bathing David and Lilah started taking off her clothes. I told her she couldn't take a bath and she ran out of the room. A couple of minutes later she came back fully naked. She made me laugh and I helped her climb in to take a bath with her brother.
Lilah is such a smart girl! I love watching her learn new things. I wish we could figure out why she is not talking yet. I know she would learn so many new things if she could talk and learn songs.
Play time at the library.
David was crying so Lilah decided to nurse him.
This picture represents my life so perfectly right now. Busy, crazy, and a little chaotic.
I am so lucky to be able to hang out with this cute girl most of the week. Mike and I work opposite schedules so we can always be with our babies.
I love my little Lilah so much!
My life is a circus!
Monthly pictures
Lilah helping me deliver food to a new mom.
Love her face In this one.
Working on puzzles
David watching his sister eat and Lilah watching her brother jump.
I asked Lilah to make the face she makes when she is "crying" She nailed it!
Even though I make her, her own food and put it on her own place, she is always stealing my food.
Love these two!
