I finally got Lilah an appointment to go see the dentist.
She has perfect little teeth but she loves her milk and sometimes is not the biggest fan of mommy brushing her teeth so we went in to make sure everything looked good.
Lilah did so great with the doctor and even let the dentist brush her teeth. The dentist said her teeth looked great and encouraged us to floss her teeth. She did so well that she got to pick out a price. She ended up picking out a new toy truck. That little girl loves her cars.
David is always the happiest.
This is pretty much David all the time. So happy and easy going.
Lilah always wanting to hold her baby.
I could watch David sleep all day. I love his long lashes and his perfect squishy lips. Oh and those hand dimples are to die for!
Lilah loves her tablet time. It's crazy how well she knows her electronics. She learns games so quickly and can maneuver it like no other.
Lilah's favorites: her grandma and her baby brother.
I think David's face says it all in this picture, haha!
Lilah has the best time when she goes over to "Vava's" house.
I love coming home to these sleepy heads.
Lilah got into the bathroom and made her baby a little bed, ha!
The minute she wakes up, Lilah goes straight to her kitchen. She LOVES playing kitchen.
She has discovered that she can use chairs to get into everything. She certainly keeps me on my toes!
Here we are at our beloved Los Rios Ranch. I find it so hard and exhausting taking out both babies that we don't get out much other than to our scheduled appointments.
I feel like the days that we get fresh air air always so nice but I never know if Lilah is going to be a good listener or run away from me. I am always so grateful on the days when she is a good sport and listens to mommy. It always makes me want to take her everywhere.
Here we are 2 seconds after completely shattering my phone on that rock behind David.
Lilah loves the outdoors. I want to really make an effort to get out more.
Lilah pushing the limits to see how far she can get away from mommy.
Learning about trees and leaves and flowers.
My smiley squishy. He has been growing so much. I wonder how tall this little boy will be.
Some days seem so long. Here we are in the upstairs play room playing and hoping we can at least kill one hour. These days feel like the days are long but the weeks seem to fly. My babies are growing up so fast and it's so hard to truly enjoy the every day life. It's exhausting. They require everything from me. I'm always grateful for good days that remind me that it is all worth it.
Can you see my hair in that picture below? My hair fell out so much after David. It is slowly starting to come back but all white. It's crazy how much hair I lost. Can't wait to slowly get it all back.
Lilah started off having a fun time with her activity and ended up making a huge mess. Oh that girl. Always pushing the limits.
David wanting to crawl. He mostly just acts like he's swimming. Every day he's getting a little more practice though. He just wants to keep up with sister.
I would love for them to be able to wipe their own butts but pictures like these make me want to keep them little forever.
David loves his bath time. He usually kicks so much he gets all of the water out.
Here I am at a co-worker's house warming. It's not very often that I get out these days but it always fills my cup when I do.
David being the best baby. He is so easy going and always happy.
Lilah girl has been refusing naps lately which has been really challenging because she is exhausted and cranky during the day. It has definitely tested my patience these last couple of weeks. Every night I tell myself that I will try a little harder to be a kinder mommy. I'm thankful that babies are so forgiving and forget that I can be short tempered some days.
Monthly pictures.
While out and about one day, we discovered a little play place in Riverside.
It was so cute and Lilah enjoyed playing with all of the new toys.
Lilah swinging in David's swing. I think it might almost be time to put this swing up. If David is laying in it, Lilah will swing it so hard that the legs sometimes come up off the ground. Oh, Lilah!
My happy boy. I have decided that this stage of my life is not glamorous. I hardly ever get ready. I have been doing eye lash extension which has been the only thing to make me semi put together. Showers are hard because they have to be timed while both babies are sleeping (Which is never) or I have to take Lilah in with me.
I'm also too exhausted to even do my hair these days. Since I'm constantly carrying babies around it's easier just to pull my hair back anyways.
Look at those chubby fingers!
I live for a baby draped on my arms.
We had a little party for BYU's first game of the season.
Grandma bought us new BYU t-shirts.
Loved our matching shirts.
For August's Act of Kindness we went to the dollar store and put dollars around the store. Lilah was in the worst mood and I didn't want to do it and get both babies out of the car but I am glad we did it.
Lilah thought it was fun to put "Stickers" around the store.
She even came out with a candy for herself.
Oh how I love my little girl.
I live for these little hugs.
Just another day watching my little boy sleep. He just looks so peaceful. And also, I'm a little jealous;)
