David's baby blessing

I can't believe the time came for our little David to be blessed. With Lilah, we blessed her shortly after she was born because family was in town so it felt like we waited a long time this time around.

Here is little David the morning of his big day.

We decided to wait 3 months since some of Mike's sisters were going to be in town. We were beyond lucky to have ALL of Michael's siblings be able to make it for the big occasions. My mom and brother came out too.
Here's Abuelita getting David ready that morning.

David wore the same blessing outfit that his dad wore when he was a baby. We had to SQUEEZE him into it though, hehe!

My mom had picked up some family from Mexico and even they were able to make it out.

My cutest family.

That week we also had to teach a lesson. All of Mike's nephews and nieces squished into our Sunday school class.

After the blessing, we invited family over to our house for some lunch.

It was so great seeing everybody gathered for the special day.

Since we were all gathered around, my mother in law read her official Mission call.

It was one of the most special days. The fact that Mike's family was all able to come out and celebrate our little guy with us was beyond special to this momma. The rest of the night we all hung out, played games, and ate more yummy food. I am so grateful for this family of mine.
I'm so grateful for my sweet boy and the sweet spirit that he brings into our own. I'm excited to see his little personality grow and to see the sibling bond him and Lilah will have. Every night I pray that my babies will continue to be safe and healthy and happy. I hope I can love this boy and be the best momma for him. I love you my sweet David!
