The day after we got back from our Baby Moon, we had one more day off together so we decided to take Lilah to the zoo.
Lilah enjoying snacks on the way to the zoo.
Mike found the Santa Ana zoo so we decided we would go and check it out since we've never been.
I love that we learn about animals by reading books at our house and then they come to life at the zoo.
Learning about ducks. She was so excited to see so many ducks swimming around.
Love this little family of mine and the adventures we get to go on together.
Lilah was sitting here watching a squirrel look for food. That thing was so ginormous, I thought it would launch at her and bite her but it didn't.
Baby boy growing every day.
1 year and 2 months photoshoot.
I love that she loves her babies. She is so gentle and loving with them.
The only problem will be that she will be TOO loving to her baby brother, but I guess that's a good problem to have.
Lilah pretending to sleep. I love it!
Lilah thinks mommy's belly makes a perfect pillow.
My brother came to visit and celebrate my birthday.
We went to Calimesa to have breakfast at one of my favorite spots.
Lilah enjoying some delicious coffee muffin.
Lilah has been such a sweet little "helper" around the house. I love that she is always willing to help even when most of the time it takes me longer.
I want to make sure that she always feels like she is doing a great job at helping her mama.
As soon as she sees me pick up the basket of dirty clothes, she knows her chore is to scoop some soap into the washing machine.
This weather has been so amazing lately but we have had a lot of rain. I have had to get creative doing activities with Lilah inside. Here we are playing a sensory activity I found online. Thank goodness for the internet!
This month, I was also able to teach a CPR course to a group of about 25 girls at church.
I loved teaching them tools necessary to save a life in an emergency. I'm so lucky to have the career that I have!
Lilah has also started taking off her clothes lately. Not the best time for potty training but we let her sit on the potty and practice whenever she wants.
Someone came up to me and gave me a sucker for Lilah at Walmart. I was a little hesitant to give it to her but thankfully it was all okay.
Lilah has been really good about picking up toys while we are shopping but also giving them back at the end when we are done. It sure makes shopping easier. I hope that she always understands that we need to put the toys back because if not we are going to be in big trouble!
I heard Lilah crying outside and went out to see what had happened. Because we have had so much rain lately, I found her in the biggest puddle of mud. Poor Lilah had totally face planted on the mud. Her sweater was so dirty, I had to take it off in order to bring her inside.
I couldn't help but laugh! This was after she wiped her face a bit. She kept crunching the dirt in her mouth when she would try to say something.
Lilah playing with rocks. She loves rocks!
Naky Lilah running around. This was when I decided to buy her a training potty.
Playing in the tub. Lilah could take a bath with breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I let her!
She wasn't the biggest fan of playing with shaving cream. It was a little too dirty for her.
She has started moving objects to get to higher places. I appreciate her independence but those chair are so slippery that it usually doesn't end well.
Laying down, enjoying watching baby boy move. Can you tell he's laying on my left side here?
I love watching her concentrate. I could watch her play all day.
Just being a big girl. Pulled up a chair, grabbed the tablet and is enjoying a snack.
Helping me clean the recliner that will be in brother's room.
Conference weekend. Enjoying the temple grounds.
33 weeks
We went to the ophthalmologist and he suggested putting a patch on Lilah's strong eye so that her weak eye would get stronger. We're supposed to put it on her actual eye but there's no way that's happening. It's been quite the struggle to get her to keep the glasses on, but we're working on it.
This month was also Lilah's last day of music makers. It makes me so sad because both Lilah and I love her little class. She loves socializing with kids and I get to hang out with my friends.
We have started speech therapy and ofcourse it is on the days that she goes to the library and has music makers class.
We said our goodbyes to her first teacher, Rachel. I'm so thankful for her volunteering her time and teaching my little girl.
Schyler and I went to the annual MooLala shopping event this month. She also took me out to the lunch right before. It was a fun day.
Lilah loves to help me make my green juice. She used to drink it but won't any more. Hopefully she will start liking it again.
Playing in the water, always.
Pushing her baby around in her little stroller. She is the cutest little mama.
She found some soap and decided the whole house needed a little sprinkle of soap. including the toys she was hauling around in her Sephora bag.
We were on our way out to run errands and she wanted her baby to wear a sweater just like her.
Crafts with Lilah. Every day I try to do one craft with her.
This girl asks to play outside all the time. She loves playing outside with her doggies.
Her new favorite spot in the stroller. Turns out we didn't need to buy the extra attachment to make it a double stroller.
I looked outside to see what Lilah and Mike were up to and found them both mowing the lawn. Lilah wanted to copy daddy so she went and got her stroller and used it as a lawn mower. It was the cutest!
