For February's Act of kindness we decided to go heart attach our neighbors.
Lilah decorated all of the hearts we would use.
Then we went out in the drizzly rain to go heart attach our neighbors while they were at work.
Lilah couldn't possibly look any cuter hauling that umbrella around.
The first house we heart attacked. The dog inside kept barking at us! haha!
The second house.
And lastly our neighbor Sondra's house.
It was so fun to see the neighbors come home in the afternoon with their decorated doors. I think most of the hearts had blown away because it got SO windy after we put the hearts up. Hopefully they appreciated the doors and didn't come home to just hearts all over their front yard.
Lilah in her Valentines outfit eating chocolate. Such a chocolate lover just like her daddy!
We got this bubble machine for Lilah on her birthday and she's been loving it lately.
For Valentines dinner, we went over to grandma's and had some Italian food. It was delicious!
Mom and dad got Lilah a stuffed doggy to celebrate the day.
I can't help but think that I look like this these days, ha!
Lilah sleeping brings her cuteness to a whole. 'nother. level!
I finally got around to painting brother's room. Hope I like the color!
Board and batten going up. Good job Mike!
My not so helping helper busy at work.
Lilah helping out with laundry. Whenever I wash clothes, she is responsible for putting the soap in and for starting up the washer and dryer. What would I do without my little helper!
Lunch date.
30 week bump
It's been so rainy and gloomy lately. It's been hard to stay home but I was so weary of taking Lilah out since so many kids have been getting sick. Well, one day instead of going to the indoor playground place we decided to go to a cafe that had a little are for kids to play. As you can see from the picture below (Of Lilah sucking on her fingers) we ended up catching the stomach bug anyways. Not sure what's up with Lilah but lately she's been sucking on her fingers, literally the worst timing to be doing that! Needless to say about a day later we ended up with a sick little girl.
So much for avoiding the stomach bug.
Lilah tall enough to reach the shutters now.
Oh the drama! She is so dramatic these days. Pretty sure she was crying because she couldn't take her jacket off. Oh boy!
And here she is, our sick little girl. I've never seen her sit so still in my life.
She got the hang of puking in the bucket pretty quick, thank goodness!
So sad (and cute?) to see her so sleepy and sick.
Lots of naps and towels.
We were up all night with her since we put her in our bed that night. We didn't want her waking up in her crib and puking in the middle of the night without us knowing so we covered our bed in towels and had a bucket next to us for when she would wake up and puke.
The next day my mom came into town and it couldn't have been better timing because I was so tired from being up with Lilah all day.
She helped keep her entertained and the puking had slowed down. We couldn't quite get her to take any fluids in but at least the throwing up had mostly stopped.
Thankfully the stomach bug was only a 24 hour bug and Lilah woke up the next day feeling all better.
Lilah wakes up asking for daddy and always runs up to him when he gets home. So cute!
We learned about being the light of the world during our Come Follow Me Lesson and Lilah loved playing with the flashlights.
Saying bye to Abuelita who stopped by on her way back from Mexicali just to say bye to Lilah.
31 weeks. Still feeling good. A little more achy. I definitely need to sleep with about 5 pillows (which Mike has learned not to complain about anymore). Other than having to get up slowly and not sit in certain positions, i'm still feeling pretty good. Baby boy has been doing a great job at growing. He is very wiggly and I love feeling him every day.
Lilah at her doctor's appointment. I went to get her evaluated for her ears since she is not talking yet. We got a consultation to see the audiologist. Turns out the next appointment is months from now arghh, so now we just have to wait. I'm hoping it's just fluid in her ears and that tubes will solve all of our problems.
The doctor cleaned out her ears and she did NOT like that. This little girl was SO angry. Man it's hard to see them do things to your kid even though it's good for them. That's why I usually make Michael take her in for her shots. I can't stand to see her in pain.
Lilah at music makers class.
I was so tired the other day and Lilah brought her little kitchen items to the bed to play with me. She's like, since mom won't get up...
