March has been such a beautiful month. We have everything we need, we are happy, the weather has been beautiful. Things have just been really good lately.
Not sure if I've mentioned this but Mike and I got new callings. We teach the 8 turning 9 year olds. With the new church schedule, everything seems to go so fast and we only have about 20 minutes to teach our class. It has been so nice.
Being in nursery for 2 hours was really rough before. I'm glad we're done with that. All of last year I never looked forwards to Sundays and even had anxiety every Saturday night thinking that I had to deal with 9 toddlers for 2 hours. Not the best church year. But it did teach me to seek learning on my own since I literally learned nothing last year.
This is Lilah's buddy Carter. He likes to come over and sit with Lilah for sacrament.
Lilah found a great spot to watch her show...
Craft time using the back window (Which between Lilah and the dogs, is never clean)
Lilah wanting to steal my foot rest. It was the perfect size for her.
This spring has been the prettiest spring that I can remember. We have gotten so much rain this year that everything is so green. There are flowers everywhere!
I had heard that there were lots of flowers in Yucaipa so we went to check it out.
We went on a beautiful easy, toddler and preggo friendly hike.
There were so many beautiful blooms everywhere.
Lilah loves being outside in nature so she was having a great time looking for rocks and picking flowers (we're working on that)
My beautiful little girl staring into the green fields.
Daddy taught Lilah to pose while we were there and I couldn't get enough of it!
Haha! We're still working on it!
That's more like it.
So cute, Lilah!
After our hike, Mike thought it would be a good idea to go to Target. As we were leaving the college we drove past the most beautiful hill of flowers. Apparently THAT'S what everyone had been talking about. I thought the hike was beautiful enough but this was beyond. I thought about stopping and Mike said, "you're going to regret it if we don't stop so I'll just make a U-turn." I am so glad we did. It was beautiful!
There were thousands of flowers all along the hill. And the sun was about to set which made it golden hour for taking pictures.
Cutest little pose!
I'm glad Mike decided to stop. He's right. I would've regretted it.
Here's a belly bump update. This baby is just cooking up in there. Hopefully he won't make us wait too long to meet him.
Lilah putting her own shoes on. It was the first time I realized she could do it. I saw her walking around outside barefoot (She had taken her shoes off as usual) When I went and got her to come inside, she had 2 shoes and 1 sock on. I love her growing independence. It will sure come in handy when brother is here.
Lilah watching a show working on "patch time"
We have started going on walks again. It used to be part of our morning routine but I feel as this pregnancy has gone one, our routine has been changing. I had been so tired I didn't realized how much we had stayed inside these past months. Also, the rain didn't help. I'm glad the sun is out now and we have so many beautiful flowers all around us.
Another day, another fun time with these two silly toddlers.
I loved her outfit. I'm so excited that the weather has been warm enough for ruffle socks. I couldn't get over how cute Lilah looked in her little outfit that my sister got her.
Our weekly post church bumpy.
My friends at work are all moving on to new jobs. Once I come back from maternity leave they will all be gone :( The plan is to hopefully find a per diem job at Kaiser at the end of this year. Time to find new friends again.
I loved my friends from work. Whenever we would go out for lunch they would always ask to start with a prayer. I mean, where am I going to find friends like that again?
March was the best month I could've asked for. Next month will be baby month!
