Last Dance Recital

My good friend Amy moved away. Man, why do the good ones have to leave! She was going to have a farewell party but since I was going to be working that day, I went over to her place to bring lunch and say my goodbyes ;( It was great hanging out with her. Amy is such a positive person, she seriously sees the good in everything, I mean everything. She was so excited when her husband got his first job in Hollister Ca, and was looking forward to start this next adventure with her family. Man she will be moving into an apartment, have a baby, and hopefully buy a house all within like 6 months. But, like I said she's so cheery all the time, I know she'll take it like a champ. Hopefully we are able to go visit her while we are up in Sacramento for my nephew's baptism.
While I was at her house, her daughter Eva invited me to go see her last dance recital. She was so sweet, how could I say no! I was hoping that Mike would come home soon so he could go with me, and he did.
Eva is the cutest little dancer, she knows how to shake it!

It's funny that's she always in the middle since the rest of the girls follow her.

When I was at her house earlier that day she said to me, "Sometimes when I shake it a lot, my belly hurts." I thought she was just being silly but after seeing her dance, I knew exactly what she was talking about. I mean this girl shook it with all she had! This was definitely the best routine of the night, so fun!

We also spotted another of our friend's daughters dancing. She's on the far left.

On their second routine, Eva's little brother Ben got to be in it too. It's funny because he is so shy and quiet, I didn't know he had it in him.

My favorite of course is when the tiny little girls dance, so stinking cute!!In this routine they had a tiny girl in the front who was directing the rest of the little girls. She was so little yet SO good!

We also spotted one of our former YSA friends. She's a great dance teacher and an even greater dancer! (Second from right)

Amy said she's going to miss this dance group. She said all the teachers got along great and that it felt like it was just a big family. I told Mike that if we had a little girl that she would be part of this dance team, he didn't object :)
Eva and her many faces. So much personality in such a little body. We got her some flowers and she was so happy.

Ben and Eva

Haha, like I said, so many faces. We're sure gonna miss the McDonalds!
