Lilah can be such a great big sister.
She is always wanting to hug David or hold his hand.
Here we are at the audiologist getting Lilah some new ear molds.
Lilah did a good job sitting still so I thought it would be fun to take the kids to a play park.
It was a bad idea to take them by myself because the kids were a nightmare.
I think it was because they were tired but holy moly they sure were bad
And this lady told us to get off the cars. Why do you put them out then!
When we went to the food court, Lilah proceeded to smack David across the face in front of everyone which led David into a screaming fit. Did I mention they did this in front of the entire food court? David's screams echoed throughout the entire mall. I wanted to spank both of them. They kept running around while I was trying to hurry and shove the food in my mouth. And then they ran away from me while I was trying to leave. I was so annoyed!
Lilah has been playing "Hospital" a lot these days.
Going on a family walk
Summer school was over for a couple of weeks and oh boy did these kids give me a run for my money. I have never been so thankful for teachers and for Lilah going to school.
Here is to a great new school year!
The van picking Lilah up to go to school.
Once in a while Lilah and David will sit nicely and watch a show on the tablet. Usually, they are fighting for it so it's so nice when they're actually sharing.
My students finished off their clinical rotation. It was my first class so I wanted to do something special for them. Lilah helped me make their goodie bags.
This was such a great group!
I only had one issue with one of the students. A nurse was upset because the student didn't do her vital signs like she was supposed to and went to lunch instead. She called the student out and the student cried. The next Monday my manager called me and said that the mother of the student had called the hospital and asked to speak to the nurse who yelled at their daughter. I wanted to never return to that hospital. What a nightmare! Thankfully it was towards the end. But overall it was still a great first group.
Lilah and David are ready for church.
There's always at least one of them making a silly face
David helping Daddy make food
My friend Lara and I at the new job. So glad we were able to move over to the new unit together. We couldn't be happier.
When the patients all go home. It's chill time!
Mornings with these two are so stressful but I love days like these.
Lilah playing and making messes. All-day every day.
She never plays with toys. She's always getting into household stuff.
I watched my friend's kid the other day and we went on a nice walk.
