Last day of school and Father's day

Lilah was so happy to get to go to school even if it was only for a few months. She loves her teacher so much and she was so ready to go make friends.

She loves coming home and telling me about her day. She'll come home and say that Elias was crying the whole time. Haha! Poor kid. She'll say "Elias, wah wah"

The first couple of days of school David and I went and dropped her off and then hung out at the store.

Her school is 45 minute drive from our house so I didn't want to go home and have to come back because she only goes to school for 3 hours.

David had a good time at the store. And then when we were all done, we still had more time to kill so we went and took David to get a haircut. Every hairdresser David has ever been to is always so amazed at how amazing he does. He will just sit there and not move a muscle.

Most handsomest little fella I've ever seen!

Then it was time to pick up sister. I had her stand in front of the graduation banner but she still has a couple of years until kinder graduation.

They're almost the same size, hehe!

I love it when she puts her arm around her little brother.

And then the worst day ever. Lilah chopped off her beautiful curls. I don't think I have ever cried in motherhood, but that day boy did I bawl!

David on the other hand being the great little boy he is, helping me clean his room. He did a great job for being so little!

Oh and Butter turned 9! Last year in the single digits for this old pup!

We also started David on swim lessons. He LOVES swimming so much. He doesn't quite know how to stick his head out of the water yet though which is super scary.

Look at that sweet little hand. This boy hugs me and kisses me without asking. It melts my mama heart!

When David is all done with his swim lessons at the YMCA, we go swimming at the kiddie pool. I tried to even Lilah's hair out a bit and did two ponies so you couldn't tell the disaster that had happened earlier. She loves going to the kid's club. All of the kids know her. It's so funny that she doesn't talk but yet she draws so much attention to herself. Must be her personality! She commands attention. And those beautiful brown eyes too.

We have been doing lots of fun activities. David loves doing "Ac tee vee tees"

It always starts on paper and ends ALL over himself.

Oh and he loves his cheerios. His favorite breakfast is cheerios, oatmeal and peanut butter, and pancakes. Oh, those beloved pancakes.

And then sickness struck our house. Lilah had been sick on and off and I had no idea what was wrong. So she ended up staying home from school that day. She actually ended up staying home from school for an entire week. Longest she's ever been sick. But the school is very strict about any kid having ANY COVID symptom.

You know she's sick when she takes a nap. And even more when she takes a nap in the middle of the living room without waking up to David jumping and yelling.

Then we went to my friend Robin's house who miraculously fixed Lilah's disaster of a hair. Thank goodness for Robin. And it was a perk that Lilah is bestest friends with Ethan because they got to play together.

So sad to see her hair short now.

But she is still cute!

Robin fixing the unfixable.

Oh and my sister and brother came to town. We went and had some delicious Mexican food. Eating out is always super stressful with these two but at least I had help this time.

David's other favorite food...french fries!

For Father's day, we got Mike...Socks!

Big hugs for daddy!

And besitos too!

Mike got socks with David and Lilah's face on them.

Those socks were so fun!

Oh and I started teaching as a clinical instructor. I am teaching at Riverside Community Hospital. I teach for West Coast University.

I wanted Mike to take a picture of me in my official white coat, hehe!

I've never been an instructor before and had never been to this hospital. Some nice instructor told me I could come on her shift and she would show me around. Thank goodness because she totally saved me. Otherwise, I would've had to figure things out on my own.
