The Living Desert Zoo

My kids are getting so big. Contact naps are getting fewer and farther in between. I remember with Lilah I had all of the time in the world. With David it was definitely hard to sit and cuddle him. So now with my Annie, I'm trying to soak it all in.

As the kids are growing, they are starting to understand a little bit more about money. We talk about what things cost and they seem to be so much more appreciative when we go out as a family or if we buy them treats. Sometimes when we get food, David will ask how much it was and will say, "Woah, that's alot thank you mommy!" On this day David let Lilah borrow some money for treats. David is the responsible one and will actually save his money.

The park is life for the kids right now. I now in the future, the park won't be as fun anymore so it's so great that we can just go to a playground and they will have the time of their lives.

My kid's giggles is my favorite sound in the entire world.

David is the best and sweetest big bro. He takes such great care of Annie. I love their little bond. Lilah will boss them both around and take their toys and things so they tend to stick together more.

We've got new backsplash on the kitchen! The last thing is to put the outlets on and bring in my new stove.

Our Markham cousins were in town and my kids were loving it!

We took the kids to the zoo and they had a great time playing together.

My favorite part about the Living Desert Zoo is being able to feed the giraffes.

These two love being around each other. I hope more than anything that they are always best friends.

I also love being able to walk inside the Wallabi enclosure.

We even got to watch some shows.

Lilah got the tiniest scratch on a branch and so she was dying.

Grooming the goats.

Everyone enjoyed feeding the giraffes!

Cheese! From the Markham/Stewart crew!
