Priscilla had always wanted to go to the Polar Express and this year she got to come with us!
We went to the Perris Train Station Polar Express. We love to go to Flagstaff but that takes alot of planning and days off so this one is always great to have as an option.
The kiddos writing letter to Santa.
Lilah meeting Santa.
The kids were a little intimidated with the characters but perked up after a little while.
We loved our hot cocoa and dancing and singing to the songs. The actors did a great job and some were really great singers.
We need to have Tia Priscilla come with us more often!
The primary kids had a nativity for the church Christmas party.
Then they got to sit with Santa. I love any time we get to do things with the ward outside of church. Church is so busy and we all have our callings that we don't get to catch up as often.
Mike has been working on our kitchen. Our contractor Jason has been amazing! The kids love having him around.
The kids helping me paint behind the refrigerator. It has been a family affair.
David at his awards ceremony.
Annie taking a picture with David and his class.
The kids always want to fall asleep in my bed. I think it's the cutest expect for when I wake up and someone peed on me haha! They always fight to be on my side of the bed. All three of them want to be right by me as soon as I lay down. My side of the bed is just that more comfortable I guess.
David ready for his winter performance.
Singing with his best friend Abraham right in front of him.
The two best friends.
His teacher, Maestra Selena Landin sitting on the chairs.
Great job bud!
I've been doing more date nights with the kids.
On this day, Lilah chose dinner.
When we were leaving, we saw some missionaries walking in. I didn't think anything of it but when I got in the car I realized I had two twenty dollar bills. So I had Lilah go back and give it to them. It was our good deed for the day.
Annie hiding behind the rocking chair getting into trouble. There went my lotion!
She's smiling because she knows her cute face will get her out of trouble. This girls also loves princess dresses.
We heard the fire fighter sirens outside and ran out to see Santa.
But I guess they drove the other way and we missed them! Last year the kids went out and they got toys from the fire truck. Sorry kids, we'll try again next year!
Annie ready to start her day!
My little princess.
We went to Stake Conference and they always open the temple grounds afterwards. I tried to get some pics of the kids but they were just being silly.
The kitchen is coming along. Jason, our contractor has started putting the cabinets together. Mike built them but they still needed to be put together. He even got the upper cabinets in now!
Deciding on what size of pulls to get.
I went shopping for counter tops and it was so much fun. I fell in love with a Taj Mahal slab and almost had to fight a lady over it who came in minutes behind me wanting the same slab.
Unfortunately when they took it out, it had a bright streak down the middle so I decided to give it tup. They said it would be months until they got new slabs so I had to kiss my Taj Mahal dreams goodbye.
I ended up going with this one since it had warm tones that would go with my cabinets.
School pickup with Princess Annie.
More kitchen updates. The pulls are on! I love how the gold pulls look against the dark green.
Lilah also had her winter performance this month.
She didn't know any of the words but moved her mouth to the rhythm of the song, haha!
And at time she would just stop singing and smile :)
Nice work Lilah!
More kitchen updates, the bell is on. It's finally starting to look like a kitchen.
I am so excited for my new stove to go in. I hope it ties in well with the gold knobs.
I took this picture of the kids playing in a box because they thought that was more fun than playing on the bounce house.
I gave them some markers and they were in the box for a while. Until I realized Annie was drawing all over her legs. Oh, Annie!
I have been working night shift and apparently I feel asleep in the car while waiting to pick up David from school. Well the girls must've taken my phone and had a little photo shoot.
There I am passed out trying to get some rest in between drop offs and pick ups.
Lilah had an appointment with her audiologist and she LOVE Dr. Shelby Thiel so much! She has been Lilah's audiologist since she was three and has seen Lilah grow up.
She goes above and beyond for Lilah and I am just so grateful to have found such an amazing Doctor as her.
As we prep for Christmas, it's hard with all the Holiday hussle to try and keep Christ at the center of it all. We've been loving this little manger were the kids put one piece of straw for each good deed they do. Some years, the baby Jesus has frozen to death but this year I think he'll be alright.
Before they put the counters on our island, the kids and I drew our handprints and put a letter for the future family that owns our house. Our contractor suggested it and I thought it was such a great idea!
These kids fight like cats and dogs. It's always so great to see them playing together.
My friend from my old unit 9100 dropped off a present.
It was a Jonas Brothers shirt which is funny because that's exactly what I got him.
The kids playing outside. I love it! We bought this home with them in mind so I love to see them playing outside in the yard.
Working on our kitchen has led to many fun boxes to play with.
Some fun parts of the Holidays is our friends dropping off treats. We love it!
