I am always working on our home. It feels like it will be a never ending project some times. There's always something to improve. This week, it was the downstairs closet. It is always a mess in here and it was starting to be hard to get into so I decided to convert it into a pantry.
I ripped out the carpet, painted it, fixed the baseboards and added shelves and lighting.
Annie was my little (Not So) Helper during the project.
I love watching my friends have babies. For a while it was just me with Lilah so it's so fun to be in the same stage as them now.
My friend Cristian had us over for a play date and the kids had fun in the back yard.
I LOVE watching my kids play with their toys. It's so sad how they don't want to play any more. I feel like I'm always begging them to play with their toys. They always rather be on screens.
I'm still teaching at the school. I'm going to be taking a break from driving to the school and just do clinical for how because I live 45 minutes away from work. But I'm enjoying the time here while it lasts.
Dinner time can be so stressful with the kids. They are always fighting and bickering. Heaven forbid one looks at the other because they lose their minds. Here we are having breakfast because they all decided to wake up early. Funny how they never wake up early for Mike but for me they love to wake up and take up my 30 minutes of alone time that I get in the morning.
Annie started a preschool co-op class. Everyone takes turns hosting. It's been fun!
I found a random picture of my mom with Priscilla. It's funny how I always call my girls Priscilla haha.
I think because they remind me so much of Priscilla.
I mean just look at those sassy poses by Annie.
Annie loves music and always gravitates towards instruments at the library
Lilah taught her how to do "duck lips" and that's what she does as soon as she sees the camera.
I drove up for Taylor's baby shower and the girls went out for dinner. This was absolutely delicious.
We also celebrated Karin's birthday.
My 3 munchkins. I love them so much even though they suck the life out of me some days.
My friend Crsitian and I have been teaching an afternoon class together and it always feels like we are just having fun. We teach the students a new skills and then we go and have dinner while they practice. It's awesome!
Lilah can be such a big help when she wants. Most days she is super lazy and says her arms hurt when I ask for help unloading the dishwasher. David is usually the one that volunteer to help me out. Sometimes it's hard when the oldest is the worst behaved because then the rest of the kids follow. But today she was actually helpful and got Annie "breakfast" for me and turns on a show for her.
I love the home depot. I love working on project at home. David snapped this picture of me while buying more supplies.
And he also snapped 200 pictures of himself.
These kids definitely make projects 100x harder.
Annie "helping" me paint.
There are so many rooms in our home that I want to re-do. I've been working on the guest room lately.
Another day of preschool co-op for Annie.
My friend Robin's house is so much fun.
Our little friend Rivers enjoying some garden tomatoes.
Lincoln checking out the sun flowers.
I added some wall paper to the guest room.
I've been reading so much lately. The only bad thing is that I get hooked and I don't get much done. But I love it!
Robin gave me fresh tomatoes from her garden.
Lilah's outfit was cute the other day so I made her pose for a picture.
Play time at the library with Annie.
Our neighbor friends came over and the kids were painting.
Priscilla says Annie looks like Matilda and she totally does haha.
Here is Annie's doppleganger.
Another class done. It's so great when I have good classes. On this day we had post conference out in the park and I brought muffins for them.
Teaching with Cristian is so much fun. It's like back in the good ole days when work didn't feel like work.
Family reading day with David.
Love my little munchkin. Lilah's school doesn't do fun things like this so I enjoy being able to go with David.
Annie loves playing dressup. She will switch into a new dress every hour and I am constantly doing laundry.
The finished room upstairs. I still need to get more furniture in here, but it's done for now.
Annie is really into princess dresses and honestly I don't care to fight with her about it all morning so she just gets to wear them out to the library.
I'm always finding selfies on my phone. Since it is locked, the only thing my kids can do on it is to take pics.
For Halloween this year, our family will be Moana. Here is our little Hei Hei. I'm so worried she won't want to wear it because she only wants to wear Christmas dresses but we will try!
Another day of "teaching" with Cristian.
I got to help out in David's class for the Apples Unit. It was so fun to meet all of his little friends and see who he talks about.
Another Preschool Co-op day with Annie.
So sassy some days!
But she perked up once my friend gave her a balloon.
And then she had a snack.
We went to the Barlow wedding. I'm old enough to see young kids be married now and it is wild. The Barlows are goals. I love the adventurous life they live and how their kids have been raised and the vacations they take with their kids and their beautiful home. They are who I strive to be when I grow up!
They moved out into this beautiful home and they have a ton of space. They have teenagers now and their teens love to hang out here. Both of their older girls have gone on missions and are now in college. Such a great family! Also, David is named after David because he was the bishop and I want him to have the same life as our bishop, haha!
Jill has been passing down Lucy's clothes down to Annie and she loves it!
Lilah wanted a picture too :)
