One of the reasons we bought this house was because of how close to the school and to the park it was. They're both practically across the street. We love this sweet community that we live in.
David is such a sweet brother. He acts like the first born all the time. Always helping and being kind to Annie.
Annie scares the crap out of me. Sometimes she likes to hide and she is SO quiet. This time she fell asleep while hiding and thank goodness I happen to see her under the mattress. She is going to give me a heart attack one of these days.
Another day of teaching. It doesn't feel like work when you work with your bestie though.
Another day of Preschool Co-op. Annie and I hosted today.
Grandma invited us over to swim. The kids love swimming. David has gotten a lot better with his swimming. Maybe I can put my kids in a swim team so they can be strong swimmers as that is one thing that keeps me awake at night. I always have nightmares about my kids drowning or my car going in the water and I'm trying to keep all of my kids afloat. I love to stress myself out haha.
My friend's husband made friend chicken and it was delicious.
They had a music day at the library and Annie loved it. This girl loves music! Maybe she will do band and choir like me.
My brother drove down and had lunch with us. We had some Mexican food at the playground after David got off school.
We found this super cute beach that was very kid friendly, it was called Aliso beach.
We love living in California so much. We can just drive to the beach if we ever want to.
David used to be scared of the water when he was little but how he loves running into the waves.
Nothing better than a beach day with family.
Annie preferred to stay on the sand and build sand castles with dad.
The beach was so beautiful. We were in search of the Rapunzel tower and ran into a bunch of cute picture ops.
We thought the Rapunzel tower was near so we just kept walking.
We ended up never finding it and walked over a mile in our bear feet. Thankfully we found a free trolly to take us back to our car.
They had a cute playground for the kids to play in.
Waiting for dad to get our beach chairs. Someone opened up the divide from a little cove to the beach and it made some massive waves so we couldn't walk across anymore. I hate when people do that.
My kids are too independent some times. I found one of the kids making themselves breakfast.
Marcia had us over and we made pencil holders for the refugees.
Lilah loves when I braid her hair and it's curly the next day.
Another day, another princess dress with Annie. She puts one one the minute she wakes up.
Annie is also into umbrellas these days so she had to walk Lilah back home out of the van with her umbrella.
Ethan has been doing Kung Fu and invited us over for a friend's day. David loved it and we actually decided to register. This was back in October.
Someone was giving out pass along cards during my morning walk and I thought it was cute because they were from the same church as me hehe.
Another day of Preschool Co-Op for Annie. She loves hanging out with all of her little friends.
My kids love going over to Robin's house. They always have a great time.
Gus is still the naughtiest pup there ever was. If the garage door is not locked, he bumps it with his paw until it swings open and then goes inside our house and loves to dump the trashcan over. He drives me crazy.
Lilah wanted her hair in a clip for school. She likes to act so grown up some days.
She was digging her outfit in the morning so she asked for a picture.
Found the kids eating snacks and watching screens. They were being so naughty and cute.
