First day of school and Austin's farewell

The kids love my bedroom. Well, actually they love anywhere I'm at. Yesterday, they were playing in David's room and I went in the hall to iron and before I knew it they were all right next to me. Too cute! (sometimes :)

We went over to my friend's house and they have grapes and Annie kept eating the grapes off the vine.

Owen Wilson LOVES Annie. Their relationship is so dang cute. They look for each other whenever they are in the same room.

Our primary friend had a little birthday party and the kids got to play with friends.

David is such a chill and easy going kid but sometimes, he's just got too many emotions piled up inside of him. I love what a sweetie he is though. I hope he's always kind and emotional.

The face Annie makes when she sings.

I love her smile so much. She's got the most beautiful eyes.

Random spiderman I found in my bathroom.

My friend's Cristian gave us a ride to the airport and the kids were loving it.

The kids are always asking to go on the airplane.

They're doing so much better and even know the drill getting through security.

We rented a car and a hotel and headed over the Austin's farewell. We have another nephew heading out to Brazil.

Jill and I needed some alone time during the gathering so she found me reading a book in the playroom and joined me, haha!

My kids were absolutely loving their cousin time.

Cousins make Sacrament meeting so much more fun.

These two are my absolute favorite. I love how they are little besties.

Have a great 2 years Austin!

It is not often that I get to use the Hotel's gym but it felt SO good to get a little workout and alone time in.

Then, we headed off to Jill's house. Her house is so fun!

The kids were having a great time with all of the toys.

One of David's highlights was playing Legos with Joseph. They played with these things for hours!

Then we went to a kid's play place and played some more.

It was a quick trip but I always LOVE visiting family. Family is my favorite thing in the whole world.

They had a CPR machine in the airport so we got a little practice in.

Headed back home.

Annie does pretty well during plane rides but sometimes she does need to get up and let some wiggles out.

Home sweet home!

Annie wanted in on the First day of school picture.

Lilah's first day of second grade!

Lilah called Marcia told her she wanted to go swimming at her pool. Not only did Marcia say yes, but she brought us lunch too. I need to be a fun grandparent like this!

I love the start of school. It always feels like a fresh start. I've been loving going on walks and reading books lately. My cup has been full a lot these days.

The kids love to take my phone and take selfies.

I'm still teaching. Some groups are really fun. This was one of those groups.

We had a primary play date at the park.

We have a large primary so any gatherings make it really fun.

Annie and I enjoying another morning walk. David started a new school and although I miss the late mornings and having the school be within walking distance, It's nice to be ready and out of the house because I tend to go on my morning walks more often.
Cheers to a new school year!
