Summer of 2024

We love our town so much. It's so family friendly.

Although, I do wish there were more options for extra curricular activities, I am loving all of the free activities that were provided this summer. Our summer schedule was packed and we had so much fun!

Here are the kids enjoying movie at the park day.

Our friend Freddy and his family joined us.

I love that the Savianus have become like family. We love hanging out with them. Who would've thought a work friendship could be a forever friendship.

Supporting my friend's lemonade stand.

Another fun activity at the library was "Bird day" where the parrots did fun tricks.

While Lilah is in summer school, David and Annie take swimming lessons.

Having lunch at the library before swimming lessons.

Our library is so much fun.

Lilah making the kids lunches. I swear some days she cries because she cannot pick up a pencil off of the floor or take off her socks on her own and other days here she is making a whole lunch for her siblings without my help.

What she came up with. Little Ms. Independent.

I love, love, love when the kids play nicely together.

Cuddles from my baby while she cuddles her baby.

I got this picture for my bathroom, hehe.

I'm in the ward primary presidency which I am enjoying since my kids are all in primary right now.

Once again, Lilah can't put her own clothes on without my help but she can make herself a full on lunch without my assistance. That kid.

This summer our family caught pink eye. It went around the entire family. I even got it.

I am still teaching at the university. I teach the fundamentals students and the preceptorship students that are about to graduate.

Lilah missed almost an entire week of school due to pink eye.

Our friends from the deaf ward invited us over to a play ground day. It was fun but it is always overwhelming how fast they sign.

Our friends from the deaf ward. Now that I am in primary, we don't get to see them often, which I miss. I wished Lilah could go to a deaf school and be fluent in ASL but her teachers all advise against it even though I've brought it up for years. I wished I knew what the correct answer and path was for her.

My baby and her babies. Too cute.

Our friends invited us over to swim and the kids had a blast!

Again, it was only just me with the 3 kids and they all kept taking their floaties off. It was so stressful but thankfully the water was shallow and they mostly stayed off the deep end. Annie is the most courage one of them all. She will take her floaties off and jump to the deep end assuming I will be there to take her back out of the water. This girl is way too confident some days.

But the kids got to practice their swimming since we don't have a swimming pool.

The primary first counselor invited us to swim and the president brought pizza. It was such a great day.

Another day at the library with our Savianu friends.

On Fridays, they have special days. This day had ponies. Annie is fearless and would walk up and pet the ponies. Lilah and David were too scared and just watched from far most of the time.

Annie loves all animals.

It's been such a fun summer with these kids!
