Annie is such a character. I love that she loves to dress up. She is just the cutest!
She also loves making messes and getting into trouble.
She is so much work and so naughty and yet looks so angelic when she is sleeping. She is to the point that she no longer needs diapers for naps. It's the best!
This month we went to Mike's childhood friend's wedding. I am now old enough that friends are going through divorces and it's weird. But i'm glad that they are still finding happiness.
The kids had a good time at the wedding. Mike was at work like always so I was thankful the kids behaved because they all kept running in different directions and I just wanted to sit and enjoy my dinner.
Dinner on the go. Lilah looks like I feel right now.
Yogurt after picking up Lilah from school.
And since she goes to school so far, we made it a full date and went to the splash pad while traffic died down.
A girl from my church is going through a divorce and we've been taking care of her son while she finds a new job and a place to stay.
He's just become part of the family.
Enjoying dinner and games at grandma's house.
Kelso's brother, Orion wanted to stay and play with us when his mom picked up Kelso.
We've also enjoyed library dates with Freddy.
Annie loves him and she's usually mean to kids so I am so glad.
I love that David's school is only a short walk away.
David had family day at school and we got to see what he's been up to lately.
He showed us all his cute crafts.
And he had a spring performance as well.
I had to bring Kelso with me and Kelso kept wanting to jump up in the bleachers with him and kept yelling that he wanted to go home. Taking care of him has been challenging but I am glad that I get to help his mom out while she is living in a hotel trying to find employment.
Ms Westall has taught David so much this year. He is starting to read and we are so grateful for her.
Having lunch with my students. I never eat out because I don't like spending money on food but my students insisted because it was the last day of clinicals together.
Park day with Kelso. I get really overwhelmed with alot of noise so it's been hard to watch someone else's kid but Kelso is a good boy. He is autistic and doesn't like loud noises so when Annie screams he pushes her hard and it's been challenging to be patient. I've learned it helps if we play outside for most of the day while we wait for his mom to come home from work.
I had a fake butt in my car because I had my students practice putting on dressings and David thought it was the funniest thing.
He kept asking if it was real, lol.
Lilah is all about the girly things. Here she is wearing mom's nails.
I have fallen in love with making sourdough bread and Annie has fallen in love with eating it.
Annie loves wearing dresses. She refuses to wear pants these days.
Another library date with our friend, Freddy.
We have decided to renovate the kitchen. We plan to do most of the work ourselves so let's see how it works out.
Kelso and Annie.
Waiting for Lilah to get home from school.
Annie is such a character. I could watch her ride a scooter all day.
I am so grateful David's school is around the corner. We always leave our house like 2 minutes before the bell rings. His school also doesn't start until 9am which is awesome.
We invited Marcia and Doug over for dinner. It's always fun to have people over except for my kids act like monkeys around dinner time and it's emberassing. But, they get dinner and show :)
For Mother's day, I got the kids and I matching dresses and vest. I asked Mike to stop by Oak Glen on our way home and we had a little mini photo shoot.
I loved the way all of the pictures came out.
Annie and her kiss face cracks me up!
The gifts I woke up to. The kids are too funny.
David and Lilah fight all day long but he is the sweetest brother to Annie.
The girls and their babies.
Playdate at the Savianu home.
My friend did a relief society class and taught us how to make sushi.
Kelso and the kids playing outside because I get too overwhelmed if they play inside for too long.
David is great at eating fruits and vegetables. He is such an easy and fun kid.
My friend and I have been teaching an evening class and it's so much fun. We mostly just have dinner and crack jokes all night.
David got a crown on his birthday. Annie wouldn't let go of his hand. It was the cutest!
