Primary summer kick off

The library has been our saving grace this summer. There is always some fun activity going on. 

On this particular day they had a mobile fossil museum

We also had our annual primary summer kick off. The kids have so much fun. I am still part of the primary team. I am the second counselor so it's fun to plan these events for our kids. 

We have quite a bit of kids in primary so it makes for a fun party. Everyone always contributes so the food is yummy also. 

The primary president bought a snow cone machine and it is always a hit. 

The bishop has a big back yard so we used his house. The first counselor bought this slip and slide and it's big enough for all of the primary kids. 

I love our ward so much. I remember when we were looking at houses in Beaumont, we visited this ward to make sure we liked it. Everyone was so kind that we fell in love with the ward and were so happy to buy a house within the ward boundaries.

It is not often that Mike and I have a day off together, so when we do, we always have a family adventure day. Mike always takes the kids out and does fun stuff with them, but it's fun to go out all together. 

We decided to go to a new beach this time. We did not like it. It was full of bums haha! We definitely won't be going back again. 

People also started fishing RIGHT in front of us which was quite annoying. I was worried the kids would get hurt if they got in the water so David couldn't ride the waves like he likes to do. 

The only fun thing about people fishing right in front of us is that the kids kept catching the dead fish the fishermen were using.

Audiology appointments for Lilah. They are such a pain in the butt and Lilah hates them. I can't take Annie so I have to find a sitter and the results are always "inconclusive" because Lilah just screws around the whole time. 

Killing time during summer vacation is quite the job. Here we are having a picnic at the park.

We love our little library so much. Another play date with the Savianus. 

We try to always eat lots of colors during our meals. 

Davis is such a responsible little boy. He has been working hard at earning chore money and finally made enough to pay for his own toy. 

Lilah was crying at the store because she hates doing chores so she didn't have enough money and the lady wanted to give her money. She probably thought I was a bad mom to Lilah but I want to teach her to be responsible too. 

I have been so greatful for the library because if it wasn't for it, we would be watching screens all summer. We even stick around for lunch after library time. 

I've been loving teaching and am coming up on my 3rd year next year. 

We had been planning a camping trip for a long time and it finally happened. Our family got together in Provo for a Rosales family camping trip.

Looking for bugs. 

On one of the days we walked over to Provo Falls and heard a big commotion. Apparently, a little boy had fallen into the river and they were never able to get him. It was so sad! 

I loved the kids playing outside and enjoying the sunshine. I feel like I'm always fighting them to get off screens.

For our first trip, we rented an RV and it was so much fun! 

We didn't go to far from my mom's house but the kids loved the drive. 

We were able to get all of the carseats in and loaded.

Last day of school came so quickly. We were so grateful for David's wonderful teacher.

I love being able to go to David's school and helping out. 

They area always having so much fun. 

My last little bird in the house. Next year she gets to go to preschool! 

Annie loves wearing dresses. She is a fancy girl!
