Lilah is such a big, independent girl. Sometimes I wake up and she has already made herself breakfast and is happily watching a show
Thanks for letting me sleep in Lilah.
The kids are really into Mickey and Minnie right now. It's so cute!
2 1/2 years old David. He is almost as tall as his sister. I think he might be tall like daddy.
Gosh I sure love my little boy.
Lilah's bangs have almost grown out. I swear she cuts a hole in her bangs every couple of months. They are almost long enough to be cut straight.
Thankfully her hair grows super fast.
The babies working on their Halloween pumpkins. I didn't want to carve pumpkins so I just had them paint them.
This is how we announced to everyone that we would be having a girl :) I wonder what she'll look like and how she'll be. So far she is a MOVER. She has not stopped bouncing around since she was around 20 weeks old. She is one strong baby.
My neighbor and I have kids similar in age. Since our kids enjoy doing kind of the same things, we walk together to the library. David LOVES going to the library. His favorite is doing activities and singing. He loves singing. He is such a smart little boy and knows his ABC's and is learning to count.
Our new neighbor, Melissa, invited us over to her house to celebrate her birthday. They just moved in not long ago and our families have really come together. She doesn't really have family too close so we have been helping each other. It's been so nice having her move in.
Lilah practicing for her first Primary Program. This chick was a nightmare. Probably the worst kid in primary, ha! She refuses to sit and doesn't care for the songs. Usually, in primary, she just follows me around since I am the second counselor.
I had to take her out a couple of minutes after this for not sitting still and taking a boy's paper and sitting on it. The boy started crying and she just kept sitting on it. Oh, Lilah!
Daddy painting Lilah's nails.
The family helping me make a song board for primary. For a minute I was the only one in primary. The president had just had a baby and the first counselor got released. Thankfully she helped me put together the primary program prior to leaving. I just ended up smoothing out all of the details and finishing everything up. I had never made a primary program before so I got a little help from Etsy and made parts for everyone along with the songs the kids had learned. The first counselor helped me make a list of all of the kids in primary and together we were able to get most of it done while the preside had her baby.
And then, the chorister got COVID, the week prior to the primary program. I thought I was going to have to do the singing for her but she ended up showing up. Needless to say, I was glad once the whole thing was over. That Sunday, we watched a movie and the kids celebrated with some juice and brownies.
Daddy said Lilah got me flowers for working and doing school and doing the primary program and doing everything else for the family. I thought that was pretty sweet of Lilah, wink wink ;)
The kids also got the opportunity to BOO our neighbors.
Here they are watching the neighbors come home to their treats.
I love giving my kids opportunities to serve others
And they love it too!
David knows the routing for the library. Walk to the library, story time, singing time, activity time, and then playing time. He loves it!
The bump is getting too big for me to reach stuff at the bottom of the washer so the kids were helping me.
And remember on the last post how Lilah got a new bike without any training wheels? Well, home girl learned to ride it within a couple of days. She loves riding her new bike.
I told David I wasn't going to make pancakes the other day and he took matters into his own hands. I love how independent these kiddos are getting.
And daddy and I were both home from work the other day so David got to be the only child. He loved it as you can tell.
My neighbor invited the kids over for some crafts. I thought it was so sweet of her and the kids had a great time.
Another night we had dinner with our new neighbors after going to the pumpkin patch
The two neighbors from across the street got together and we all took the kids to the pumpkin patch.
It's so fun to see the kids all become friends. They are all close in age which is perfect.
The kids had a great time on our first outing together as neighbors.
David ready to go trick or treating.
Lilah learned how to ride her strider bike really well and now David is learning too.
I think he'll be riding like a speed racer in no time
