I turned around the other night and realized these two were matchy, matchy. David is already a BYU fan just like his daddy.
Baby girl bump at work
There are not very many days when both Lilah and I are off on the same day.
It's definitely different having a kid in school now and having to go off of her schedule.
But I love Lilah going to school and she loves it even more so we just take advantage of the days where we are both off together.
Last time we both had a day off, I decided to take the kids exploring at Joshua Tree.
I didn't even realize that our passes would expire at the end of the month so we went with perfect timining.
I accidentally drove WAY past the normal entrance, I thought we were going to end up in Mexico. That's what happens when I'm not usually the one to drive long distances. I forget to pay attention, woops!
Thankfully we just ended up on the other side of the park and were able to explore things we hadn't seen before.
I love going to places where the kids are free-range and can jump and play in the dirt.
Both of them loved climbing boulders and playing in the dirt.
I'm not sure how big my baby bump will get or how hard it will be to get around later so I want to take them on as many adventures as possible while I can.
Lilah being silly
Skull Rock, So cool! Lilah is in the "don't want to take pictures with my family" phase right now. She at least snuck in behind me for some of the shots.
She made sure to stand as far away as possible for most of the pictures. I can't believe it had been years since we came here.
This place is just so beautiful and so fun!
Seriously the coolest rocks
Love these two little babies of mine. They are such great little explorers.
And Lilah as always making silly faces
This rock looked like it had veins. It was as if someone had chopped it in half and then glued it back together. So cool!
Photography by Lilah
Both kids wanted to be carried at the same time. Thankfully they compromised and took turns cause this preggo mama can only do one kid at a time right now.
More pictures by my cute Lilah girl
Lilah: "Mommy picture!"
You got it girlfriend!
It was such a great day. The kids did so well. As hard as it is taking them places sometimes, I always love it. There's nothing more that I love than seeing my babies explore places and be out in the wild. I love free-range kids!
Random picture of Lilah making a bed in our room. Sometimes she makes random beds in the living room or makes a little cot in our room and will sleep so peacefully. She's so funny.
And a bumpdate prior to heading out to Joshua Tree.
I am so lucky I get to be their mom. I can't wait for the many more adventures that we will have together.
