The Halloween festivities started off with going to my friend Robin Wilson's Halloween themed baby shower
Our firsts are best friends and it's fun to have these ones close in age again.
Oh and apparently a bunch of ships are stuck at sea and so supplies are limited for everything this year and things are taking forever. I started my Christmas shopping early just in case things start to run out.
For Halloween our church put on a trunk or treat
One of the ward members put on a cute little catch fish game for the kids.
The day was beautiful and the weather was warm
We got to wear our Frozen outfits once again
David was a cute little Olaf. I was trying to make hold two sticks for the costume competition contest.
I bought stuff to decorate our car and then totally forgot our candy on the table. Thankfully someone was so sweet to share an extra bag with us. Especially because I didn't realize we had forgotten our candy until AFTER I was all done setting up our trunk.
The kids loved going around asking for candy
David was a quick learner and caught on to trick or treating really fast
My cute little crew
The next day we made some homemade pizzas. We even invited our neighbors to join us for dinner. Everyone made their own pizzas, it was fun.
David loves helping out right now. He is always saying "I helper, mom!"
The kids love chopping veggies too so I got them some kid-friendly knives so they can help out in the kitchen.
The day of Halloween we took the kids down two cul-de-sacs so they could get some trick or treating.
The kids had a great time
There's a cul-de-sac close to our house that the entire street goes all out with fun decorations.
They even had this tunnel to walk through that had real-life characters.
On our way back home, we met up with Robin who had come to our neighborhood to trick or treat so we went around one more time.
Lilah was SO happy to see her buddy, Ethan.
This is my new favorite picture of them. These two love each other so much. It is just the cutest! It was definitely another successful Halloween.
And then some random pictures of our month
David playing with Sondra's train tracks. Every kid that comes over loves these things!
The kids opening up the pumpkins to explore what is inside. I'm glad we didn't carve pumpkins this year because the kids thought the inside was gross and I don't blame them.
We have been going on walks with our neighbor and it has been so nice. Carolina went to high-five David and he held her hand, hehe! She just went along with it.
These two are really cute buddies.
David had chocolate stuck on his tooth. I thought it was funny, hehe!
He is always so excited to run out of the house and wait for Lilah to come home. It's so sweet and cute!
