Fourth of July

June's Act of kindness

For June's Act of Kindness we made a "Have a Good Day" sign and had Lilah wave at the cars.

Everyone loved it, including Lilah.

It was nice to have Mike help out too.

She definitely made people's day a little brighter.

Such an easy yet big way to lighten someone's mood.

These have been so fun with my little Lilah. I hope that she can learn to think of others and grow up to be kind.

June Fun

Here's some of our fun adventures for the month of June.

First we'll start with Lilah and her dollies. She loves playing "mommy"

We are so lucky to live close to Perris Lake. It was become one of our favorite activities.

The water is shallow enough for Lilah. She has no fear of the water. She will go right in with daddy. I definitely can't take her in the water alone any more because she is too confident. But we sure love coming with daddy.

Sleepy giggles.

Lilah loves to pull this bin out. She knows she gets to play a fun activity in it. She'll usually go into the closet and pull it right out.

I love when she is a helper. It makes me so happy!

I turned around and she had put her baby in the stroller and even gave her a little blanket.

For our school unit we have been learning about apples. Lilah learned to sign the word apple.

We did apple art too.

And then we ate them with peanut butter.

We attended a friend's baby shower. Her baby is a couple of months behind David so it will be fun to watch the boys grow up together.

Sleepy baby with his mouth wide open.

Not sure who gave David that onesie but I was excited for him to wear it to church.

Lilah asking to hold "bebe"

For preschool we went around the house looking for letters that were taped up.

Both babies asleep for a nap is pure magic!

Learning to sort apples by shape.

She dressed her baby and then had to put her up on the feeding chair.

Taking both babies out is so much work right now. Except for the fact that one of the babies doesn't do much which sure does help. It takes lots of planning to get out of the car.

I needed a  minute out of the house so I went and used a gift card Marcia had given me and I sat in my car all by myself. It was just what I needed.

We tried to take Lilah to the movies for her half birthday but it was a total fail. She had zero interest. She went around pushing the "Service" buttons and kept walking around. We'll have to try another time.

Lilah walking into church with her little doll was just too cute.
