Grandma's Birthday

For grandma's birthday this year we decided to celebrate big. My aunts through her a big birthday party and most of the family was able to come. We were still missing a few but it was still fun to see those faces we don't get to see to often. I forget how convenient it is for most of my dad's family to live in Vegas, specially being such a big family.

My cousin Jessica had the idea of doing a family tree, every one sent her pictures and they were all displayed on the tree behind us. I don't know where most of my pictures went , I'll have to add a couple later when I get home.

In my family there's ALWAYS music being played. My uncles love singing and playing so much they could pretty much DJ at any party as you can see by all the equipment in the back ground.

I love my grandma so much. I'm so thankful she and my grandpa raised such a great family for me to be born into. I love this family of mine. When we're together we're either eating, dancing, singing or laughing, and sometimes we're doing all of those at once. I remember when I was in elementary school, we used to live in the apartments across the street from my grand mother's house. We would always go visit her on Sunday evening after church and she always had delicious food ready for us. Even cups of noodles were the most delicious thing at grandma's house. She just had that special touch.  She always had treats for us too. I loved going over there.
My grandpa was always watching TV, he was so funny. My grandfather lost his middle finger in a factory ( or atleast that's what i think happened) Every time we would ask him what happened to his finger he had a different story, I don't think i'll ever know what truly happened. I miss him.
My grandmother's house was always some where you could go to be loved and spoiled. She truly loves all of her grand kids. Every birthday and Christmas she would send us a card. I used to think she had special powers, that's why she could always remember everyone's birthdays. It's funny when I think of my grandma I can smell her scent and her perfume. I'm glad we got to celebrate this amazing lady, hope to celebrate her for many more years.
