Back in January, Jill came over with her family. Every year, we try to get the best boy cousins to go on a trip and this year we got to hang out with the Markham crew.
For Pie day, I made some pizzas.
Annie is always wanting to help me in the kitchen.
My neighbor sometimes asks me to watch her baby while she picks up her daughter from school.
The kids and I were enjoying the snuggles.
David loves holding babies.
David was so proud of his leprechaun trap.
The girls have to leave so early for school. Most days they are up and ready to go by 0630. David is usually up early also, so I put on a movie so they could stop bickering. ,
I love when my kids are happy and not fighting. It's the best feeling ever.
David got an award at school. We love his Kinder teacher so much! She is just amazing.
Every year I take my kids on a one-on-one date. This year Lilah wanted to go to Disneyland.
We had a great time. This was our first time riding this ride and it was awesome.
The lines were so long, thankfully brought Lilah's tablet for her to play with. Disneyland is a lot more fun in a crowd.
We went on this island that I've never been on before and Lilah got lost! She went in one way and exited a different way and took off walking. I kept waiting for her to come out until I decided to go up in the tree house and then went around the island to look for her. Then I found her with a nice lady crying. She definitely got scared. Hopefully she learned her lesson not to take off running if she doesn't see me.
After that she stayed close by me. This girl thinks she is so tough and always want to go off and do her own thing. She doesn't realize that she is still so little and needs to be protected. She is too tough for her little stature.
Here's a picture of us going through all of the tunnels before she got lost.
We also got to meet some characters which we usually never have time for
We sat and listened to the band which is also something we don't get to do. ,
We sat and watched the Rapunzel show. Since the lines were so long for the rides, we did a lot of activities that we'd never gotten to do.
I hadn't told Lilah that her and I were going to Disneyland until we drove up to it. It was fun to see her shocked face.
It was a fun time with my girl. I love the one on one time I get with my kiddos and hope that they remember these times fondly.
