Life lately

Oh, this silly little boy of mine. He's usually the most obedient and well-behaved of the bunch, but once in a while, he'll walk out of a room looking like this.

Lately we have been enjoying the simplicity of life and enjoying the little things like playdates with friends at the park.

I've finally gotten to a place where I can really enjoy my babies and love how little and cute they are.

The weather has been so good and we've enjoyed many meals on the patio. My favorite.

Tired little human who is still little enough to take a nap on one chair.

Sweet little Annie has been such a great baby. She usually sleeps with me and we are both just cuddled up at night. Its the best. When she wants milk I just give it to her and we both fall back asleep.

This past year, my new year's resolution was to eat more colorful meals. It's been so nice sticking to that.

Lilah loves her baby sister so much.

Our baby sister keeps on growing month after month.

So proud of baby sister.

For the Holiday, my neighbors got together and made an outside potluck. It was so nice. The kids always enjoy playing with the neighborhood kids.

My neighbor picked out the best watermelon.

We've just been eating so delicious lately. Colorful meals make me so happy.

Lilah always wanting to hold Annie.

Annie is a great little sleeper. She will take a 1 hour nap in the morning and a 2 hour nap in the evening and then is up only 2x at night for milk but she won't even open her eyes. She will just drink and fall back asleep.

The girls got to go to the doctor together for a checkup.

I love when the kids are outside in the sunshine using their imagination. Here they are playing restaurant taking out everything out of the garage.

Lilah helping unload the dishwasher without being asked. When she wants to, she is the sweetest girl ever.

I have enjoyed teaching for West Coast University RN BSN program. For the last day of clinical, the students got me this yummy treat.

It was my first time working NOCs. It was a good group.

I have also been working at Loma Linda University Medical Center and it's been a nice break working in the Recovery Anesthesia Care Unit. I like my coworkers but it's been hard working with management.

After work one day, we got to go to the city fair. I got a very expensive hotdog that was very yummy.

Sweet Lilah likes to pick flowers and give them to people. I was the chosen one this day.

Lilah holding Annie, always.

This is one of Lilah's very favorite things to do. Dump EVERYTHING, and I mean every single thing in that room into one big pile. She was doing this to the playroom every week and I was going insane. I had to take out half of the toys so atleast the damage would be less.
Here she is destroying David's room. Maybe one day she will actually just sit and play with toys.

I came home from work and saw Mike had put on Annie's shirt backwards. Haha! She looked like a little clown.

I'm telling you. If she can, Lilah will always be hugging Annie.

Lilah's paintings are my favorite.

I always find these on my phone. Hundreds of Lilah foot pictures, hehe!

Having breakfast outside while we wait for the van to pick up Lilah. I'm so grateful that they provide transportation for her. Her school is 45 minutes away and with the current gas prices, it would be so hard.

The kids making messes as per usual. Here they were playing airplane. They had loaded the "plane" with toys for the beach. They said they were going to Hawaii. They also packed entertainment and toys for the plane ride.

Some of their random treats they packed for the plane ride.

David started going to preschool. He came home a little sad the first 2 times and now he is all about it and loves it so much.

That means mom gets one morning all to herself (well with my little Annie). It is so nice!

Annie fell asleep sucking on her thumb. She doesn't normally so it was pretty cute.

I love her little hand on me. It's my fave.

Our neighbor Sondra is moving away and we are so sad. It's hard not having family around and she was our only help. Plus she is the sweetest and loves the kids. We will definitly miss having her down the street.

On our way to Utah we had to stop at Sandhollow beach. It's one of my faves for the kids.

Obligatory hug your brother pictures, haha!

Annie is such an easy baby!

I love my family!

The kids were so excited to make it to abuelita's house. They love it!

We went on the most beautiful hike.

My family + sunshine + outdoors...HEAVEN!

On our way back we stopped at the All Abilities Park in St George, another favorite.

Life has been good lately. We are grateful we have each other and definitely count our blessings on how great everything is right now. I am trying my best to enjoy my tiny humans everyd day because they are growing up so fast.
