We had been cooped up a couple of days so we decided to go out for some fresh air. I love when people post pictures of stuff they do because I can find kid friendly stuff for the babies.
The hike was so beautiful and the day was lovely.
Lilah in the spot light.
David going in for a hug.
The hike was a little steep at times but the kids did great. I had to go to the bathroom so bad so we had to climb off the path a bit and hide behind a bush. It was funny. Hope no one saw mine or Lilah's butt.
When we were done we enjoyed a little picnic. We found some benches at the end of the trail which was a perfect spot to eat our food.
The mark of a good time.
I love when I find Lilah using her imagination. Sure makes a big mess but I don't mind the messes when she is being a little kid and playing.
Then we went to a friend's house and we all got haircuts.
David did great and didn't move. He looks so big with his big boy haircut.
We love going over to Ethan's house. He is Lilah's best friend.
They are so cute together.
Lilah had some of her baby hairs chopped off.
The kids always need a bath after going to Robin's house. She has an amazing back yard and the kids go to town playing.
Lilah and David during craft time.
Desperate times call for a jumper inside the play room. The kids loved it!
Not sure how David manager to get more food outside of his body than in.
Oh, David!
Dinner time is my least favorite time of the day. The kids are tired, and wild, and whiny. They are jumping all over me and I can't swallow my food fast enough. They are climbing on the table, running like wild animals. This dinner was one to remember. The kids watched a movie and Mike and I ate some delicious home made tacos. It was so good!
Cuddles before mom leaves for work. I love how much David loves cuddles. Except he always wants to be held which is hard specially when i'm trying to hurry and clean or make food.
He gives the best cuddles though.
I love you so dang much David!
Sunrise from work window.
Baby tippy toes. David is tall enough to get into things now.
He wanted to be like daddy and have his phone on his arm while he went for a bike ride.
This is one of my favorite salads. You can never go wrong with this salad.
Love when Lilah helps David. They are like to little naughty cubs.
Lilah has been making messes at lightening speed these days. I feel like I am cleaning messes all day and don't get to play with the babies as much as I would like because I am always cleaning up after them. It's so hard to keep up with Lilah. She loves permanent markers and has pretty much destroyed anything nice we own. She completely sharpied every wall and furniture in her room and sharpied our walls and doors and even our couch. People say i'm going to miss these years but not sure i'll miss the naughtiness of it all.
These pictures series are funny. We have entered the "David is looking at me!" face of life.
David saying cheese trying to get close to Lilah.
He was so cute and put his little hand on her and here she is swinging his hand away.
"Don't touch me David!"
"Mom, David is touching me!"
Oh the drama!
And then she wanted to put her hand on David. Good thing David is so easy going.
That's more like it!
Oh you know, just another day of Lilah trying to burn our house down with matches and candles.
If you don't find this kid playing with knives, you can find her trying to light up a fire of some kind.
Also, I made artichokes for the first time. Definitely not a fan.
Lilah got a new Roger device which is a microphone her teacher will wear at school that blue tooth's right into Lilah's hearing aids. Here I am using it. Can you tell Lilah can hear me?
David was crying that he was cold after a bath so he got cuddled in a blanket.
I love bath time. It always gives me a much needed break at the end of a long day. Except for when they empty out the tub and there's water all over the place. Then it's not so fun.
I love, love, love watching these two play. I hope they can always be besties.
