Disney Junior Holiday Party

While we were at the Jonas Brother's concert waiting for them to come on, Mike found some tickets for a Disney Junior show and said that I should take Lilah. We thought it would be a good idea for me to take her by myself and it would be a fun outing since her birthday was around the corner.

It was so fun to spend some one on one time with little Lilah. She still has a rough time sharing mommy with a little brother so I think she enjoyed having mom all by herself. I thought it would be easy peasy taking her by myself but this little girl is so sassy and does things by the beat of her own drum.

Once she saw the kids around her, she didn't really want to hang out with mom. Which reminded me that the days are numbered that she chooses to play with me versus with other kids. I definitely need to take more opportunities to spend one on one time wit her. I think outings stress me out still because sometimes she wants to do things her way and it's a struggle between giving in and making her happy and putting my foot down with certain things.

Lilah was such a good little helper helping me take her popcorn from the concession stand to our seats. I made sure to get seats that were close by so that she would be able to see since she still has a hard time sitting still without getting distracted.

Lilah kept sharing her popcorn with the little kid next to her, it was so cute!

She is pretty good at sharing for a 3 year old. Sometimes she likes to help TOO much but thankfully most people don't mind.

We ate our snacks and Lilah played with the kids next to her while we waited for the show to begin.

She gets so many compliments because she is so cute. It's rare for her to go somewhere and not get compliments.

I mean just look at those big beautiful eyeballs of hers!

Here she is refusing to sit. Thankfully no one came up to us and told us to sit down. She did pretty well with most of the show except it was a little long. I think by the end of the year she should be better about being able to watch an entire show or a movie.

She kept making this face when they would shoot confetti. It was the best. I love her facial expressions. I look forward to more one on one time with this little girl. I wish nothing more than her to know that mommy loves her and I hope that I can watch her grow up to be happy.
