Christmas was pretty low key at our house. For Christmas Eve we had tamales, beans, and a bunch of sides. It was just the 4 of us until we went and picked up my brother from the train station and he joined us.
I kept finding Lilah opening presents under the tree. It was the best! Except I kept having to wrap things back up, hehe!
Once my brother got there, we started opening up presents.
Here's our cute little man doing a wonderful job at being cute. His smiles are the very best!
Lilah opening presents from my brother.
These kiddos are my everything. I literally think about them all day long every single day.
Every time Lilah opened up a present, she would stop and play with it. I loved watching her facial expressions as she unwrapped each toy.
And our buddy boy opening up presents of his own. He didn't open up much since he is no longer into baby toys. All he wants are his sister's toys (And more specifically the one she is playing with, ha!)
I just love my babies!
My sister bought Lilah a little bench and it was a total hit!
The next day it was Christmas morning. Grandma came over to watch Lilah open up her present and came over for breakfast.
Lilah loved the water table grandma gave her.
I can't wait till it warms up a bit so she can go outside and play with it.
David loved it too!
Later on in the day we went over to grandma's house for even more yummy food and presents.
Once again, Lilah took her time opening all of her presents. She loved every one of them and would stop and play with them after opening them.
She loved her presents from her favorite cousins.
It was a laid back, relaxing, memorable Christmas. I hope that I can always remember my little babies and the magic in their eyes. Lilah got a trampoline from Santa and her reaction was priceless!
I thought it was cute that both babies were drinking their bottles. They both rub their ears to soothe themselves.
Also, we potty trained during Christmas break and Lilah did great. She is officially potty trained! We still have a couple of accidents here and there but for the most part she will go number one and two in the potty.
Lilah also had her last Speech Therapy with her Inland Regional teacher. We loved her so much and she is to thank for getting Lilah help with her ears and her speech. We will miss her very much!
We also celebrated Lilah's birthday at grandma's house. She made home made mac and cheese and Lilah loved it!
Lilah has been sleeping in her big girl bed for a couple of weeks now. It's nice because if she cries in the middle of the night (which she usually does) we just go in and lay down next to her since there's enough room for the both of us. Here is Lilah on her last sleep as a two year old. The days are long but the years are flying!
