Living Desert Zoo

Our last hoorah as a family of 3 was to the zoo.

First things first, ofcourse, as soon as we walked in we went straight to the giraffe exhibit. It's my favorite. I woke up late so by the time we got to the zoo, it was Lilah's nap time and she wasn't as happy as she could've been, woops!

But we still made the most of it. Poor Mike had to keep chasing her though because she kept running away or staying behind.

It had been chilly by our house so we all took jeans but boy, we should've taken swim suits! As soon as we got to Palm Springs, the clouds cleared and the sun came out.

Lilah loves the animals and I love watching her little eyes light up when she sees them.

She was all about brushing the goats. I was so worried that a goat would bump her since she is so little. Thankfully we all got out of their safe and sound.

Very dramatically eating a a sandwich

Haha!

Enjoying some AC in the discovery center.

We had a fun day at the zoo. We decided to leave earlier because it was so hot and we wanted to end the day on a good note. I have decided that I rather leave early and leave happy than to spend an entire day somewhere and all come out miserable and cranky. It was a great day with my little crew.

The next day I went out to sushi with my coworkers. I am grateful to have found such a great group of friends.

Two days till 41 weeks!
