I am such a pooper when it comes to ward parties. I'm glad Michael is always there to remind me that I like to go to ward activities because I tend to forget. I was part of the decorating party anyways and even though we had decorated everything the day before I felt I needed to go.
Michael is his mother's son. He always wants to be early to church activities so he can help set up and he's always part of the clean up crew. I think opposites attract because me and the word early don't usually go in the same sentence. Thankfully this new upcoming year we will start going to church an hour and half later than 2013, yippee!
The party started super late and I was starving so the food was delicious! Some of our ward member had a skit for us, I think it was supposed to be funny....
One of our good friends Jason Lomenick was Santa Claus for he 3rd time since we've been in the ward. He sure makes a great Santa Claus.
I am so thankful that the Merrells moved into our ward. I hardly ever get to see Natalie because I am in primary but it's so fun to hang out those few times we get to be together. Sometimes I forget she's in the ward and she thinks I'm less active, hehe. That makes 3 young couples, hurrah!
We love the Merrells and their little Stockton boy.
It was fun to have someone to talk to at the party. I usually feel weird being surrounded by a bunch of old ladies. We have some really weird people in our ward and I don't know if its because my husband is super nice to everybody or we just attract the weirdos (maybe we're the weirdos) Anyways... I guess I have to learn to be nicer and friendlier to people. I love to live in my little bubble and only let people in that I like
Oh Jojo, I think you are more my sister than Mike is my brother :) Bryan reminds me that after we have gone to the ward party, I am glad we went but getting me there is another story. I have tried bribing the boys with treats and movies if we don't go.
