Huntington Beach

Oh how I love Mondays. Mike and I both work Tuesday through Saturday and we love it. It's not as busy to work on Saturdays and we get to go on dates on Mondays. We love it because wherever we go, it's never overcrowded because who goes to the beach on Monday mornings? It's pretty great.

On our way to the beach

As soon as we got there he RAN to go and greet people and jumped around in the water. He LOVES the beach
This little fella scares me. He is way too friendly sometimes and he thinks he can go up and say hi to any dog. Look at him with his butt up in the air ready to play. Sometimes he makes me so nervous that he'll go up to the wrong dog and pay the price. Why can't all dogs be sweet and playful like my Butter, I hate snotty dogs ugh!

I don't know if dogs can smile or not, but if they could, it would look something like this :D

Good thing we brought towels and the car seat cover is water resistant because he was in and out of the water all day

I told Mike to climb up this little hill and have Butter run to him because he was still so tired and needed to burn off some more energy. He made it all the way to the top!

He was finally so tired that it was our turn to have fun and we drove over to the pier where we could drive our bikes around

I was surprised to see people at the beach on a Monday morning, I guess it's summer time and people are out of school. It still beats being there on a Friday or Saturday for sure
Next time we will try not to get him so tired because we couldn't go very fast on our bikes since he was not about to run after playing in the water all day. Next time we will ride bikes first and THEN go to the beach. Sorry Butter!

He has turned into such a good little walker. It took a lot of walks and bike rides for him to learn that he needs to stay next to us and not in front of us where the tire is right behind him. Thankfully he learned because riding a bike and holding a dog is HARD work!

My boys <3 p="">
We had such a great time at the beach. We're sure lucky to live so close to it and try to take advantage of it as much as possible.
