Evan's Birthday

The day after Pentatonix was my nephew Evan's birthday. It was so fun being in town and being able to celebrate with him.
Here is Dean and I, I had to brive him for a smile...teenagers!
The birthday boy requested Mexican food for his birthday, yummy!
Their cousins came over to party with the family
Present time
With the Fardanesh clan, love these guys!
Birthday boy, this kid is always so happy, love you Evan!

Pentatonix

A couple of weeks ago we got to go see Pentatonix in San Francisco. Mike found that they were playing a couple of months back and we decided to make a trip out of it.
The place was pretty small so it felt like we were right on their toes, it was awesome.
They had three opening bands, which were all really good. When Pentatonix finally came on, they came out singing STAR WARS. It was awesome!
They put on such a great show! I love all of their music, but specially their Christmas music.
They were so great, Mike and I had a great time.
Can't wait to go to more concerts this year!

Christmas Pictures

Here are this year's pictures. Love my two furry babies. After about 500 pictures, we were able to get a couple of them looking.

Disneyland

The weekend of Thanksgiving, Marsix and Alex came and we went to Disneyland with them. They went on Saturday and had a family day and went on all of the kiddie rides and then we joined them on Sunday. We love every chance we get to hang out with those two. And now they're adding another Castillo to the group! One of us is going to have to get a suburban so we can keep these family outings going.
That morning we all woke up excited like little kids. We made ourselves some breakfast and packed up the snacks and off we went. On the way there we jammed out to some Disney songs and we were in perfect spirits once we finally got there. We thought that maybe it would be super busy because it was the Holiday weekend, but it ended up being a great day.

Vanellope was so happy! She was loving all of the rides.

Disneyland never disappoints. They take so much pride in every single detail, it makes everything so spectacular!

I thought it was so fun that one of the girls in the parade came over and gave Vanellope a high five, she was all about it!

Such a great day, the weather was perfect!

We started off the day getting fast passes to Carsland. After we got those, we stayed around and played in California Adventure. Vanellope's favorite ride was Mater. I think that's every one's favorite ride. She was laughing and yelling and just having a blast.

Vanellope is so obedient and gave me a slap on the bum per her mom's request.

I love how much love Vanellope gives her Tio Mike, seriously these two are so cute!

She is too cute with her Tio, he totally falls head over heels for it too.

Disneyland was so fun. We used our fast passes wisely and it made for a great day with no lines.

We all crammed into the tea cups and laughed so hard we had tears streaming down our cheeks.

It was a very successful first trip to Disneyland for Vanellope

I love how cute she is trying to be close to Mike.

She seriously had so much fun. She is so great and we love going out with them. She's such a great traveler and such a good little girl.

We went on every single ride, except Hyperspace mountain because the line was 90 minutes long and there were no more fast passes :( Next time!

Disneyland trip with the Castillos was definitely one for the books. We had such a great day. We took turns taking care of Vanellope so that Alex and Marsix could go on the big kid rides and Mike and I were able to go on every ride we wanted.

We literally walked right unto the roller coaster at California Adventure!

Beautiful day

Kissy face for the camera!

Great ending to a great week!

Marcia's Birthday

For Thanksgiving this year every one came to town. Every one (except 1 nephew who was working for Black Friday) was able to come to Walt and Marcia's house. Apparently I didn't take pictures, I found these on my old phone, woops.  I'm so grateful for the family I was given on this earth. Life is hard and they make things so much better. I sure love my family.
The morning of Thanksgiving started off with a little game of soccer. I slept in and only saw the last part of the game. It was really cold so my nephew, Ben and I went to the store for some much needed treats.
For thanksgiving dinner, we had the most delicious meal. Every one cooked something and at the end, we had so much delicious food. It was a great meal and it was even better being surrounded by family.

We took some pictures after dinner, this was my favorite. Every one being, you know, themselves :)
Selfie time! I have the best sister in laws!

The next day, all the kids had planned a surprise birthday party for Marcia since every one was in town. It was her 60th birthday bash so we wanted to make it special. We secretly invited all of her friends, got a taco man, man a photo booth, and had a piƱata and games. It was a blast! She was totally surprised also, which was amazing considering there are a lot of us that were keeping the secret. It was such a fun night!

One of the presents we got her was a book. All of the kids wrote about a memory with their mom and something they had learned from her. She loved it so much it brought her to tears (and us too) Another great surprise for the night

So much fun celebrating my amazing mother in law.
I made a youtube video of the party. It was such a great night, I wanted to make sure I always remembered that great night we all gathered together to celebrate, mom.

The next day we went and took family pictures at the temple.

Sisters!
My sister in laws are SO cute!
The boys
It was such a great week. That week I also started working as a nurse. It was an exciting week for sure!
